for her short programme, the technical judge have done a huge mistake which is on purpose, downgraded yuna's 3-3 and plus gave miki's 3-2 a goe which was not supposed to becasue miki planned to jump 3-3 but at the last minute, changed to 3-2. that is the rule. last minute before the competition, no goe. so that stupid switzerland technical judge must be fired. even yuna's pcs was like same as the one on skate of america where by she did terrible
I wish she would put more expression into her skating- there is choreography but no expression to pull it off with. I think there needs to be more flow with connecting elements.... and does she have a wrap on her d.loop. anyways i love all figure skating and want to see all the women skate at their 100% at the Olympics to really duke it out
Miki needs to smile more... in the sp, it's a sad piece, then it's OK; but in this program, her smile will bring more PCS points for her. Specially with this sexy costume... Go Miki! Win the Olympic!

Also,Mao didn't give up yet. If Mao is in Olympic and if Yuna gets back her pace?? Miki ando should do better than now. hope so.
I must admit, her jumps are really neat!! But IMO she takes too much time preparing to jump, I prefer Yuna's smoothness, her jumps come really natural, you don't see her skating the whole length of the rink before jumping. I'm no skating pro, so I don't know much to judge, however these are just my views, and well, I'm on for Yuna with the Vancouver gold. =3
Btw where's Mao Asada these days? I'm not her fan so I don't check her videos much, but how come she's not on the list of skaters?
Mao didn't qualify for the Grand Prix Final because she placed 2nd in Paris and 5th in Russia. I really wanted her to be in this event since Yuna was here too. But unfortunately, she didn't make it. I hope they go all out against each other at 2010 Olympics.
I liked the costume she used at NHK better. Morozov did say she had a closet-full of dresses for the FP though, so I think they're just testing them all out and then decide on the best one for Vancouver.
I like Miki alot. She become really mentally strong, knows and admits when her skating isn't that good even if the judges give her high scores. But she has to manage to skate more neatly like Yuna. Morozovs' choreopraphy tends to make the skaters use the arms too roughly, so sometimes the program gives a sloppy impression. And hell! MIki has to get rid of this too Egyptian like costume. Something more quiet and simple is enough for Miki. She's capable of expressing Cleopatra through her skating.

A fine program today. Except for that landing issue on the 3S, everything was smooth.
I don't like that gold band around her head though; she looks like 손오공 with that thing... better take it off.

I just cn't wait to watch the ladies event come 2010 Olympics. It's going to be exciting, bone-chilling. Anyway, I'm rooting for Yuna. ^^

Hm, and one more thing, she doesn't have much expression when skating, I don't think I've seen her smile once. Only after the performance.
But happy for her anyway, all skaters do their best out there on the rink. Make me wanna skate too.
