Ezra has raised what is probably the most important point - that these crimes are committed AGAINST muslim girls and women. The defense says that all of the accused will appeal. Let us hope that even if it goes all the way to the Supreme Court, they will still all be found guilty of 1st degree murder. What bothers me is that Hamed will only be about 46 when he gets out - still enough time to raise a family of his own and pass on his 7th century misogynistic values. G_d forbid!
