  • You're going TOO FAST

    Slow down!

  • great explanation and tutorial, but the video is very low res. surely you save it as higher res? :D

  • please help i had it all working and all the sudden the sound just stopped and it doesnt work in my daw either PLEASE HELP

  • Why is everything blurred-can't see

  • @SPFXsynthesisers bcs i had a crap screen capture program. i'm hoping there's a better free one now.

  • @atomictraveller Hope you find one-You have agreat voice and a brilliant way of explaining stuff-A good screen capture and these will be excellent vids.

  • @SPFXsynthesisers cheers - it could be a while, i'll be doing more synthesis edu movies for sure :)

  • cz is in 240p resolution...sucks

  • wen i try to save the file as a vst it says file cannot be created :/

    why is this?

  • @OfficialDosh If you have Win Vista or Win 7... I think I know why. It's because of a security feature that wont let certain programs write to the Program files directory.

To fix this what i did was: go to File/Edit > Preferences. Then click on the "File Locations" tab. Change the "VST plugins" location to something like "C:\SynthEdit\VST2". I'm not sure if this has any affect on anything else, as I did not test it. But it does allow for the VST to be created. I hope this helps.

  • @Atoms4Peace THX lol

  • This was very confusing. Can't see, not being told details. Please post something for newbs.

  • You Synthedit interface looks different from mine somehow. Maybe we have different versions.

  • "Werner Herzog teaches synthedit"

  • @jacknesky: "Werner Herzog creates a Klaus Kinski sound generator. You've never heard more realistic Kinski shouts and screams." :D

  • Because of the extremely poor quality of the video, it would have been nice if you mentioned what pin connections you where using.

  • I'm new to this, so this question might sound stupid. is it possible to exactly reproduce a sound? in other word, can you use samples to create a synth?

  • @UnderGroundBKZ I wanted to know this exact question. I wanted to use some of the 8bit samples I have made to basicly make a synth similar to Toad or Peach by tweakbench...

  • Can you make a sample based synth in this?

  • @BullyBeat You can, there's a sample oscillator module.

  • @BullyBeat I want to know this! SOMEBODY ANSWER THESE PEOPLE!

  • Can you make a sample based synth in this?

  • Jeez man, didn't even explain half the shit you were doing. Good thing there's a pause button, I got it figured out by just guessing.. you should really either show a zoomed in version or tell us each connection, sheesh.

  • Nice video, but It's really hard to follow the connections, since you can't see which ones you connect to eachother.

  • So need more of these!!!

  • Thanks for your tutorials! They're a great help!

  • I can't see anything ^_^v

  • very nice vid ;]

  • I like Synthedit above Reaktor because, even though i own reaktor, it is free, uses less CPU power and lets you create modules. Plus it handles graphics a lot better. Great vid, helped me in some places to make myself a decent 3 osc synth. Thanks :)

  • Hmm. This looks alot like Reaktor.

  • Reaktor is sound design software. This software vst synth, effect development.Reaktor support out .exe?

  • I am learning a lot but my god, how fast do you go! I paused every couple of seconds, and I'm a quick learner too.

    nice job nevertheless...

  • only thing im learning is that that is one boring voice... just joken.

  • Very cool, I am learning a lot.

  • nice tut!

    ;-)

I might have to try that :P

  • Hello Xoxos! Very useful, thanks!
