Geez, people here that are dissing the game engine must not know much about it. Okay, first off; This game does not use its own engine (well, not completely). The engine this was founded on was Cube2, an OPEN SOURCE engine well known for Cube2: Sauerbraten, and Red Eclipse. Both games are extremely addicting and well made. Must I also remind everyone, that OPEN SOURCE means that its FREE, and the source code is FREE, and available to the public to modify and build.

This looks impressive. I personally write in GML and stay away from 3D engines because they just aren't flexible enough. I'll give it a shot though =) I really dig the lighting on the water on some of these levels; that is a really cool effect. And the lighting in general is very appealing. I was most impressed by the scenery at 2:34.

you cant make anything good with this sandbox. the game mechanics suck.

The curser moves faster the more you move it when the menu is up its really annoying.

I would be moving my mouse a constant speed and the curser speed would increase the longer i move it.

I immediately uninstalled it thanks for wasting my time!

I don't quite know how i ended up watching this vid, but may I just say what an appaling game engine. You only have to see the way the moon distorts around 2:04 to see how it is cheating the fov to try and make it look more expansive. It take more than slapping some pretty textures on polygons to make a good engine.

I'm having trouble finding any, helpful tutorials, which actually tell you how to add extra things, edit properties and create quests. Terrain manipulation is very easy, but all of the other things iv'e seen in the video's is a mystery. For example how do you create a map filled with that tall grass and not just a boring, plain?
