SWV, the Supremes, the Jackson 5 all had lead singers and they were great groups, Destiny's Child didn't invent the lead singer format several groups were that way before them. Letoya and Latavia knew they weren't going to sing lead from the moment they joined if they didn't like it they had 10 years to leave the group before Destiny's child even got signed, it's not like they got to sing lead at first and then things changed, they knew the deal but they were cool with being in the background.
