Idk by the looks of it it wasnt that bad you could have fixed it up and made it a good mudding and trail riding truck. the frame wasnt rusted to shit it was just the outside. Rusted to shit would be rust holes through the frame. But anyway at least you made more back than you payed for it.
WTF there was nothing wrong with it u think that's bad u should've seen my 69 chevy it had no bed floor and no shocks no nothing really I drove it for 5 years till bed fell off one tire broke off and radiator blew on one damn bump sad thing was I lost my job day before
Beach = Near ocean. What did you expect of a used beach truck for $600? I can go by a ATC for $600. This counts for all vehicles, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, whatever. If it's for sale at a insane cheap price like $600, it means it's a broken ass piece of crap that isn't worth any real money, and simply put, the current own wants it gone. He knows he's not gonna sell it at a decent price, he knows he'll get hardly anything for it. He just plain wants it gone. Let it be someone else problem.
wasn't that bad, seen worse, could have always welded the shock mounts, replaced the shocks, and wound the torsion bars, as it was sagging like a bastard in the front.
PSSHH i think all the chevy 1500s have the rusty ass bottoms, i live in California but no where close to a beach but my whoole undercarriage is rusted like a mutha fucker!!!
dude, u shouldve sold the rims sepratly, mine on my 64 z71 are the same and they are like layered steel/titanium, they havent rusted or got scratched in 10 years!
dude we tapped on it several times with our 3lb and 8lb sledge hammers. she was still very stubborn. we actually drove the damn thing before we took it apart. even though it only had one rear shock attached and the brakes have ZERO pad. lol
thats not rust that truck had another 300 k left at least. iv seen them with 700000 and an other with 900000.front shocks are $50 a peice you fuckin retard.you fuckin lost money for all the labour put in to take it apart.
He got his money back but coulda replaced the shock and brake lines. And had a good truck for a while. That truck wasnt even that rusty ive seen them way way worse at my work. (ohio) plow trucks. We have one with over 300k plowing snow. Great trucks.
lake effect ftw did u guys get alot of snow from that last big storm i had so much fun in my truck then lol, made about 100$ towing people out of ditches and getting cars unstuck lol
@youdragonoh yah, tons we live in between fields and the drifts are terrible too, 6 ft drift we had to move, youch!, and yeah i love the start of winter bc everyone is always going in the ditch so i get out in my silverado and start pullin!
winter is the funnest time of year for me with my truck and snowmobile just put a 2in 2 out flowmaster 40 on my truck sounds great when pulling people out and when i get stuck lol but it kind of draws attention to tho lol
@youdragon 1990 silverado 4x4 shortbox reg cab with cooper 285's, no lift, pretty squirrely in the rear end til i put tractor weights in the back, that helped
I've seen rustier still driving down the road thier called 70's chevy, fords and dodges. Alot more rust just buy older trucks there so much bette than new stuff i love my old trucks and cars easier to work on too .
yeah my best friend has a 76 dodge w200 military truck with a 318. u can get in the engine bay and close the hood and be fine. lmao. trucks today are filled with so much useless plastic crap :)
cool i have a 93 to but myn is a red extended cab and the head gastet jest blue yesterdaywile i was driving it lasted for ever 209,800 miles to be prosice at lest i made it home so i will be ether scraping myne or puting a cheap engon in myne
That's pretty Impressive, profit of 150 bucks. And hey another smart move was getting rid of that honda. Man, and I thought my truck was in bad shape when we got it haha.
better for it to just go away. i have enough trucks. a 88 mazda b2200, 99 chevy blazer 4x4, and a 96 chevy k1500. it isnt missed. also it was a learning experience. how to take parts out of cars the best way.

Rust is a bastard and there's always way more than meets the eye. Push on a spot of "surface rust"-crunch the whole quarter panel crumbles.
