The throttle postition sensor has nothing to do with idle, unplug it and it will start and idle fine. It might possibly be a maf sensor. Diagnostics is what I do sir.

So much bad information. There were no SR20DE/T with blue valve covers from the factor.

There WERE SR20VE/T with blue valve covers from the factory. They are a transverse mount type and came hooked to either FWD or RWD trans.

There was some talk about converting one of these to RWD for use in an S13 chassis, however, I don't think its ever been successful.

it may pass emissions, but it's illegal to have an RB engine in California. IDK about other states though.... you can easilly pass the emissions test though, and hope to God the person conducting it doesn't know anything about Nissan Skylines....

the valve cover is painted blue.

to my knowledge there are red, blue and black top sr20det's

the stats are slightly different, i.e. materials in the crank and stuff. but power output is pretty much identical across the board

The gauge cluster came off an R33 gts-t...the boost gauge is right under the tach needle...but it displays in a weird measurement, not bar or psi.
