NEVER USE PEROXIDE OR NESPORIN ON ANY PIERCING!!!!! Peroxide will kill all the bacteria including the good kind and nesporin can clog the piercing channel! Was it in the shower with a antibacterial hand soap like soft soap and do sea salt soaks twice a day you will be good.
It wasn't an infection. I happened to me before a couple of times. It was probably because you stretched to a point where the tissue tore, and its trying to heal itself. The reason it looked so gross is because it want to scare up but It cant because of the plug. So it heals slowly just daily clean your ears with peroxide and use plenty of neosporin. :)

That's so shitty when that happens. :( My friend first went to see his piercer and then a doctor because he had the same problem, and they told him that it's best to take the plug out and let it heal, and then start the stretching again, from the start. It was a pain in the ass, but at least it healed very quickly :3

ok soo i stretched from a 2 to a 0 just about 3 days ago my ears were pretty swollen and yesterday i woke up and i noticed blood on the O rings so i removed my plugs and had blood in both my ears , i cleaned my plugs washed them with soap and cleaned my ears with warm water and a cue tip .. the swelling went down and today i just woke up with dried up blood .. ive cleaned my ears already and they seem to be healing properly now .. is there anything else i can do?? please respond dudes!!

Use bio-oil, wash daily. I don't think it's infected, if theres some discharge/pus then maybe you inserted the taper or whatever you're using to stretch or using as a plug probably irritated your skin on your ear. I remember mine crusting when i was stretching.

@teabaggervance8 I also am "heavily tattooed." My ears are not gauged to the same size as the gentleman in this video however, they are about an inch stretched and I have no issues as an R.N. (Registured Nurse) at the hospital I work at. I would imagine at the rate of acceptance of different expressions in the world, the only places falling behind in that department would be small podunk towns. (are you from one?)

Part of the problem might be is that if they're silicone plugs try healing popping in some stainless steel tunnels. Silcone is not good for healing. I have a pair of green silicone plugs just like your's but they're an inch.
my 12mm and 18mm did that but i left it in and it went back to normal o.o when i stretched to 12mm i took it out cause it looked like that, but it went like black the next day and it was like this video for ages, but when i tryed again it went normal after 2 days o.o

@chumpy24 Sea salt or "Epsom" salts - which you can purchase at any pharmacy - if you don't see them, ask - one of those "hidden" products. Very old school but effective. Also - antibiotics wouldn't hurt none, and you wouldn't need to downsize. Ask your doc if you have one - lots of times they will just call in a script for you w/o an office visit. Or go to local ER. Keep it clean, keep it dry - and you'll be fine. But if it gets swollen or angry red... ER! STAT! :) Hope all is ok by now.

@highfivezombie87 Silicone has a habit of adhering to peoples skin when used to stretch and many end up tearing their ears when attempting to take them out :/ This is because silicone is a very porous material. Try to get it out asap because your skin might heal into the plugs. You could attempt taking them out after a hot shower, but don't try to rip them out because you may seriously damage your lobes. If they're really stuck then stick to the soaks and maybe try to talk to a professional

@teabaggervance8 I also am "heavily tattooed." My ears are not gauged to the same size as the gentleman in this video however, they are about an inch stretched and I have no issues as an R.N. (Registured Nurse) at the hospital I work at. I would imagine at the rate of acceptance of different expressions in the world, the only places falling behind in that department would be small podunk towns. (are you from one?)

Part of the problem might be is that if they're silicone plugs try healing popping in some stainless steel tunnels. Silcone is not good for healing. I have a pair of green silicone plugs just like your's but they're an inch.

my 12mm and 18mm did that but i left it in and it went back to normal o.o when i stretched to 12mm i took it out cause it looked like that, but it went like black the next day and it was like this video for ages, but when i tryed again it went normal after 2 days o.o

that's not an infection sir it looks like a bit of dry skin try lubing it and to the person below to cure the infection get some sea salt,wet a q tip and dip it in the seaI salt,them thickly coat the sqIlt around the front aInd back hole,all the way around, this will draw out the infection,do it twice aI day.my best friends a piercer.

Okay so how do u k ow if this is an infection. I stretched my ears from a 2 to a 0. 2 days ago. And now my ear lobe is real red and hard on the bottom. And weirdly kinda numb. Their was some puss coming out earlier. And if is infection how do I cure w/o downsizing?

@chumpy24 Sea salt or "Epsom" salts - which you can purchase at any pharmacy - if you don't see them, ask - one of those "hidden" products. Very old school but effective. Also - antibiotics wouldn't hurt none, and you wouldn't need to downsize. Ask your doc if you have one - lots of times they will just call in a script for you w/o an office visit. Or go to local ER. Keep it clean, keep it dry - and you'll be fine. But if it gets swollen or angry red... ER! STAT! :) Hope all is ok by now.

@chumpy24 ok fella i have stretched from my first piercing to a 20 mill I got in now and it took 3 weeks.Yes i am aware i will get shouted at by the masses(my own piercer is going mad at me) you will always get some kind of disscharge from a traumatic piercing or body mod.When Im went from 18mill-20mill I had a lot of diss charge so this is why I am resting the lobe at 20mill for say 2 week's and then will see if I want to go bigger.just stay clean with antiseptic.hands clean,then clean inside

Random question.. I went up to a zero from a two with silicone and they hurt really bad still it's been like a couple of days and my ears are: red (kind of), they hurt everytime I touch them, they're kind of hard, and I can't get the silicone tunnels out and I've tried cutting them out but that failed. :/ Umm, what is wrong with my ears? o: Please respond.

@highfivezombie87 Silicone has a habit of adhering to peoples skin when used to stretch and many end up tearing their ears when attempting to take them out :/ This is because silicone is a very porous material. Try to get it out asap because your skin might heal into the plugs. You could attempt taking them out after a hot shower, but don't try to rip them out because you may seriously damage your lobes. If they're really stuck then stick to the soaks and maybe try to talk to a professional
