Our house labelled condemned by the fire marshall. We are so dissenstized by the sirens anyway. The only thing that got their attention was the power going off. While they were waiting for the TV's to come back on, they feel a rumble. My grandmother was upstairs in great rm. She tell my grandfather to get in tub. She heads for the bsmt. She & my mother cling to bannister while to keep from being sucked back upstairs. Entire great rm roof/wall is gone, plus garage roof. Everyone ok (cats incl)

I sure did find some extensively long, professional-sounding comments on the boards today, declaring that the upsurge in tornados is being caused by Global Climate Change. They just won't give it up. I think that carbon tax they were hoping to implement was just too lucrative to want to let go of yet. I wondered if I was detecting the fingerprints of perps.

The rest of dutchsinse's prediction is spot-on, just running a bit late. Dallas-Ft Worth are getting severe storms tonight.

Living 5 blocks from the airport, I can say that this is nothing compared to damage done to homes and businesses, they were literally ripped in half. There were no sirens going off at the time of the tornado. They were going about an hour prior and stopped. Then back on again about 10 min after it hit.

It didn't just hit the air port. It was in the middle. There's like a "line" of destruction from 270 just before page, through the airport, through Berkely, Through Dellwood, and it stopped in Pine Lawn. Driving down Lewis and Clarke, I saw a beam of some power lines sitting in somebody's yard! Never seen anything like that personally. It was shocking.
