Yes, you can adapt this to drumset as you can hear, the heel part of the hand is like the bass drum, the slaps represent the snare etc.

Well, it all depends on what you call decent! From $299.00 beginner LP to $1200.00 or so for a set of 2. Mine are LP Classics that retail for over 650.00 a piece with no stands included.
