  • i almost fell asleep doing this, and i love it when he says "i hope your shoulders feel better" in the end.

  • people need to see that the guy doing the video already knows his body well enough to know how much pressure to apply without it hurting and that's why he's able to do it quickly using the amount of pressure he appears to be using, for people who havent done this or similar self-massages before start with light pressure and build up if it starts too hurt then too much pressure so take a step down and work out the kinks at that pressure its longer the first few times but practice makes perfect

  • Wow, I can feel the circulation already. Thanks!

  • This really works, thanks!

  • now my arm hurts

  • IT HURTS SO GOOD!

  • @Fireball821 yeah XD I love it

  • Thank you SO much ! I could sleep (2:07am here) , watch this video and your neck massaging video and I feel alot better ! Now I can sleep , thanks again .

  • What song Is in the background?

  • @13fish12 An Old Piano and Number 1 by Torley Wong

  • This is the exact area that i usually get stiffness in. Thanks for this video.

  • Very helpful. Also works after using the "Heavy Bag". Great stuff ^_^

  • Thanks...it really helps alot..=)

  • Hey, thanks! That works wonders! :D

  • My shoulders are always tense and this is just amazing!!

Especially that bonus :) Thanks so much!!!

  • I mean, ofcoutse it hurts if I'm stuck but I should do it again and again?

  • @Vilpart experiment gently, it shouldn't hurt

  • This really helps but should it hurt step 3 -----> to the rest. Are my shoulders just so stuck? Should I do this many times or something?

  • Wow! It really works!!!! Thanks so much!

  • GOD BLESS YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU <3

  • This really works! I feel great now! The only one that hurt me was step #5 which caused extreme pain. What does this mean?

  • @CatsRuleCatty Don't do anything that causes you extreme pain.

  • Omg This actually works wow!! And i noticed the major differences in the two sho8ulders

  • this actually works. nice one for your vids ill be using them after many sporting performances as i often get left with tired achey muscles

  • I suffer from chronic undiagnosed back and neck pain. Would you recommend these technique more or trigger point therapy? I find that both techniques help but it's never enough.

  • @DarcieLea If I had chronic undiagnosed back and neck pain I would get an examination by massage or physical therapist I trusted. Then I would work out a treatment plan based on the examination. If i suspected the problem was caused by active trigger points I would want the examination performed by someone who had the ability to treat this particular problem.

  • Wow!!! I love it. Simply just THANK YOU RichPoley!!!!

  • @haymha You're welcome!

  • It actaully works. But still, a massage from someone else beats all.

  • while i was doing this i felt reilf but hurst at the same time is that normal?

  • @MegaSamanthaann When I do it I also feel pain and relief. You want to feel better when you finish the massage than you did when you started it.

  • I have too much of a bony body, i cant do this.

  • That rolling your shoulder into your fingers is the Shizzle!

  • Ahh thanks, I've been working on my chest so I've been doing more pushups and my shoulders feel sore sometimes. This helps a lot :)

Ohh, anyone else notice that the massage tool on the desk vanishes at 1:58?? xD

  • self massage is like pretending to have sex....

  • oh man, this is working miracles and I only did it once on both shoulders.. This is going to work wonders when I'm at Military camp during the summer. Thank you so much for the video.

  • @benjerman92 You're welcome, i'm glad to hear it helped, thanks for letting me know.

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • @cal0630 You're welcome, hope it helps.

  • traps = trapizoid muscle?

  • @diddymuck

    Trapezius muscle.

  • Is there such thing as massaging to much, What would be a good amount of massages per day, perhaps one a day after a workout is fine?

  • @TheNukeFuzz As long as you're not causing pain you're not massaging too much. Ideally though you want to limit massage to when you feel your body needs a it to help recover from exercise or other overuse activities like working at the computer, playing a musical instrument, or gardening. Once a day after you workout, or when you first get up in the morning are both good times to receive a massage.

  • The tip about relaxing the shoulder muscle by leaning on the desk is very helpful. I think this video will help a everyone who watches it.

  • @goatfellclimber It helped me when i was working on the video to keep my traps relaxed. Lying down on your back is even more effective. Thanks for your comment.

  • Thank you for the great videos ! I'm bodybuilder and I have some problems with my shoulder - It is hurt at certain exercises and it clicks - sound like a mouse click. I use glucosamine,B vitamines,Fish Oil - What is your advices about medicine ? And how often I have to do masage - pre workout or better post workout ? And what also I can do to help my shoulder ?

  • You're welcome. I hope they continue to do you some good. When I lift weights I find it helpful to massage between sets, and usually the morning after, I'll massage the muscle group I worked the night before. Every body is unique and self-massage gives you the opportunity to discover what works best for you. So I would suggest trying different things and seeing what works best for you. I don't use any supplements so I can't really recommend any. If you're shoulder is causing you pain see a PT.

  • I found tender parts, should I message that area more? Or leave it alone. It gives abit tiny pain if I do it too much.

  • thanks, great video!
