I see alot of people saying Kyokushin is the best. 0.o its a matter of opinion. Kyokushin is more of a sport karate style to me. But its still a great martial art. I love the demonstrations and matches i see of it. More traditional karate styles though.

@kimanyv MMA isn't really a style, it's a sport. As the name says, it is mixed; you have guys from Muay Thai, karate, boxing, BJJ, Judo, Taekwondo, wrestling, etc. There is no such thing as an "MMA style kick" or "MMA style punch". By the way, this "it's the fighter, not the art" thing doesn't convince me. I think martial arts are sort of a rock-paper scissor thing.

@SASknifeBOY thats debatable, but as a kyokushinkai fighter, I can say one thing about our martial art, we produce the toughest fighters in the world because of the bareknuckle contact, are full contact tournaments and kumite tests aren't for everyone. I personally don't think their is such a thing as best martial arts all are good in the right hands.

Also there is nothing brazilian about jujitsu, it's a japanese art, the gracie's learnt from a kidokan judoka, bjj's true founder is Kano who modernized classical jujistu, which was taught to the gracie, most of which is still the same.
