I found this song a while back from an old Anberlin forum thread. It gave me a email account and a password. In the inbox sent from itself, i found the mp3.
"Embrace the Dead", was also recorded as a demo track and is often mistaken as an Anberlin song, however, the song didn't make it onto the band's debut album as it didn't constitute the stylistic direction the band wanted to head in.
@breathnac92 Or you could google 'youtube to mp3" and convert this video file to an mp3 file... or search for "muutube" it provides mp3 download links for songs that you search as well.
As soon as I punched up the new Anberlin b-side [New Fast Automatic] and heard the intro guitar lick, I recognized it as a rewrite of this song. Which is awesome, because the track always deserved some higher production values.
This song isn't technically Anberlin, it was a demo written after the end of SaGoh but before Anberlin. It was produced by Matt Goldman, and was chosen not to be re-worked for the bands first album because it wasn't the style the band wanted.
Readyfuels, Foreign Language, and Driving (later re-named Autobahn) were all recorded at the same time as Embrace The Dead, and were all chosen to feature on Blueprints For The Blackmarket.
@Supercell08 actually it is technically an Anberlin song thats very sagoh-esque. because sagoh was done and they recorded foreign language etc for anberlin. so it is technically anberlin, just unreleased. That demo is what they sent to Tooth and Nail (:

@jc4you according to the band it's not, so I think I'll take their word for it :)

@Supercell08 lol well i would too. thats just what i understood from their interview with AP (:
jc4you 1 year ago
@jc4you thats cool, you've just misunderstood that's all. What I wrote is pretty much word for word Stephen's explanation in the interview.

@Supercell08 what about everythiing in between? I thought that, that song was the one that didn't make it because it didn't fit in.
mrretard155 1 year ago
@mrretard155 Nope, Everything In Between was another demo made after these 4, it's all in the AP podcast they did a while back
