  • I found this song a while back from an old Anberlin forum thread. It gave me a email account and a password. In the inbox sent from itself, i found the mp3.

    Talk about viral...

  • "Embrace the Dead", was also recorded as a demo track and is often mistaken as an Anberlin song, however, the song didn't make it onto the band's debut album as it didn't constitute the stylistic direction the band wanted to head in.

  • anberlin sucks :)-~

  • @gorgof4500 yea it works perfectly thanks are there any other old demos i can find?

  • @gorgof4500 hey can u send me that demo i cant find this anywhere id really appreciate it!!

  • @breathnac92 try this link while it still works: mediafire (dot) com /?d7fsm7mf2kfss1m

  • @gorgof4500 shit it doesnt work lol any other way i can get it?

  • @breathnac92 I just searched on iso hunt for "anberlin embrace the dead" and the first torrent file looks like it has it

  • @breathnac92 Or you could google 'youtube to mp3" and convert this video file to an mp3 file... or search for "muutube" it provides mp3 download links for songs that you search as well.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • As soon as I punched up the new Anberlin b-side [New Fast Automatic] and heard the intro guitar lick, I recognized it as a rewrite of this song. Which is awesome, because the track always deserved some higher production values.

  • Anything by Anberlin is great song, lol ^.^

  • Okay, this song proves it. Anberlin has always sounded awesome.

  • They should definately put this on an album

  • Does anyone know if this song is on iTunes?

  • sounds like saosin =)

  • This is actually really good!!! Probably of something they could've put on New Surrender..like Dissapear ^^

  • yea this is really cool!!

  • How'd you get ahold of the sagoh demo?

  • A friend sent it to me. I'm not sure how or where he got it.

  • @gorgof4500 do you think its possible you could send it to me?

  • It's on limewire, and it's not a sagoh demo, see my earlier comment :)

  • @Supercell08

I foud it on frostwire too.

  • @Ikeslayer87 I downloaded it on Napster back in the day...as well as Anberlin's first album...probably around 2003

  • I'm now in love with this song. And Supercell08 is right. =)

  • this is a rad song

  • I've heard this song once before. i don't like it nearly much as the Anberlin I know now, but it is a pretty good song. Love Anberlin

  • This song isn't technically Anberlin, it was a demo written after the end of SaGoh but before Anberlin. It was produced by Matt Goldman, and was chosen not to be re-worked for the bands first album because it wasn't the style the band wanted.

Readyfuels, Foreign Language, and Driving (later re-named Autobahn) were all recorded at the same time as Embrace The Dead, and were all chosen to feature on Blueprints For The Blackmarket.

I think it's an awesome song though :)

  • @Supercell08 actually it is technically an Anberlin song thats very sagoh-esque. because sagoh was done and they recorded foreign language etc for anberlin. so it is technically anberlin, just unreleased. That demo is what they sent to Tooth and Nail (:

  • @jc4you according to the band it's not, so I think I'll take their word for it :)

  • @Supercell08 lol well i would too. thats just what i understood from their interview with AP (:

  • @jc4you thats cool, you've just misunderstood that's all. What I wrote is pretty much word for word Stephen's explanation in the interview.

  • @Supercell08 what about everythiing in between? I thought that, that song was the one that didn't make it because it didn't fit in.

  • @mrretard155 Nope, Everything In Between was another demo made after these 4, it's all in the AP podcast they did a while back

  • @Supercell08 how do u kno all this ):

  • @rockergaNy they did an in-depth podcast with AP where they spoke about all of this :)
