When you spend hundreds of billions of dollars on some pointless war, killing our people, killing their people, of course you're going to have to cut corners on things that are actually important to America. Like Janszler said 1 billion dollars for this war that made the US less safe is not a good way to spend money. I'd rather that be spent on education for the future of america, on healthcare, on securing our ports and chemical labs from terrorist attacks. John mccain is more of the same, we need something new.
