  • @pieeip4775 same thing here, only mythbusters in our country were a year late :/

  • what if the bals like right in about an hour and a half in starts to crack ? please help

  • it got too dry too fast- you need to slow it down by adding a little water and basically starting all over

  • put it in a bag and then in the fridge for about 20 min

  • this is so fun who knew mud dirt and dust could be so much fun!

  • i bet it took the mythbusters a couple tryies but i thiink im getting it down

  • i dont get it the mythbusters did it in like their firs try,,, crap! its taking me like 20 to get it right!!!!

  • thats the power of TV lol, lots and lots of editing :D

  • thats because they had a dorodango master to help them

  • lol i was inspired by mythbusters too...gonna try this as soon as i can get my hands on some soil...i wonder if i could just buy some soil at a nursery, would that be useable?

  • not soil but "earth"

  • Haha im making one right now!

  • im probably the only one in louisiana who knows what this is lol, well from the looks of the views

  • ive tried 2x now with nothing to show for it

=[ i used basic brown dirt though and that shit just hold in the water dont do it, it cracks n dies!!

  • go mythbusters! im gonna make my own shit balls and give them to my mom lol

  • Hahhahahahahaahaahh LMFAO

  • gonna make 1

  • anyone else notice that this video is all out of order?

  • im currently makeing one for my sience fair and im not sure how im doing i cant figure out the polishing technique and it currently looks/feels like an ovicado.

  • i plan to make one this weekend. i too saw in on mythbusters, and i can tell already. im hooked.

    :)

  • me too...lol

  • same i just saw in it on mythbuster, so i was like well ill youtube it lol

  • haha mythbusters revived this ancient art worldwide

  • it so hard i cant do it like i get it to the ball and then when i but the fine dirt on it it just sits on top of the ball it doesnt stick to it what the hell help me ty mythbusters

  • im sad....i wanna do it but where i live its winter now and there is rain and sleet and snow off and on.....just enough to turn the dirt into mud so i can't use it, it has to be dry dirt....specially when you sprinkle the dirt on the ball..

  • i feel your pain

  • i know exactly what you feel cuz when i first found out about dorodango... the day later, it snowed. alot and im frustrated!

  • take a shovel and a bucket, then dry the dirt in an oven *it'll smell like baking potatoes* until dry, then break the clumps back into powder. Then take a portion of dry dirt and make the mud in a separate container, then you can make your dirt dumpling!

  • @BoboGumdrop with the wet dirt, bake it in the oven for about 20 min, but dont cook for too long, amazingly u can burn dirt

  • haha leave it to mythbusters to stir interest in pretty mud

  • LOL Wow......look how many people Mythbusters inspired to make Dorodango balls, hahahaha. Here's another to the list lol.

  • I wish I saw this before I made one.I just did what I saw on Mythbusters and they really didn't give info so i just did what they showed. Now I have a frozen mud ball that looks nothing like what it's supposed too.

  • AHAH, i did the same thing!

  • omg i saw this on mythbusters!! I WANT ONE AAHAHAHAHISY892Y3SPQ2Y2P3A`!!!EAWISU1`M

    ok im calm. srry.

  • lol

  • it's awesome

  • hah, every one just saw this on mythbusters, i did too, i guesse im not the only one who got interested.

    funny

  • lol yea

  • The instructions are up there where it says "More Info"...

  • lololol

i also just saw this on mythbusters

  • omg i saw this on mit busters and i really want to learn how to do this..... any sites

  • i saw dis in mythbusters too! i'mgonna trie making 1 cuz i'll give it 2 someone

  • wtf i cant do it i tryed like 5 times

  • just keep trying it took me like 30 tries till I got a resonable one

  • I really want to do this. Thank you, Mythbusters.

  • I've....still not seen the mythbusters episode for this. I will, however, attempt to make one!

    Thanks for posting instructions :3

  • W00t for mythbusters!!

  • fuck

  • LOL... wow... I can't believe everyone's gonna be doing this because of mythbusters lawl.

    (Imma do it too.. lol)

  • i bet most of the views for this video are because of mythbusters i want a profesionaly made one of these

  • do you use like potting soil? i'm confused on what dirt to use

  • Haha. Mythbusters started a craze. The Japanese are so cool for just this reason. They can take dirt, and make it awesome. When they get their hands on computers...*shudder*. This is why I love origami, and why I try to introduce people to origami with my vids. Origami is a dorodango ish thing.

  • same with bonsai, japanese come up with, awsome shit on their spare time GOD DAMBit

  • did every one see this on mythbusters? i just saw it like an hour ago. ive been on some sites and it says the shine is more with fine dirt and experience. its alot more complicated that they said on mythbusters. i can't wait to try this, i think it'll the next big thing, just like the rubiks cube.

    :D

  • Oh my gosh yes! I just barely watched that two minutes ago! I'm soooooooooo gonna try this

  • After seing this on mythbusters I googled it and found a page with step by step instructions. Went outside grabbed a bunch o dirt and two hours later had my very own dorodango, not as shiny as I've seen, but I think its just technique, got another working, hope it comes out better.

  • wtf help me

  • P.S. You need to show like a step by step process would be so much easier

  • i saw this on mythbusters, its so tight

  • i saw these on wythbusteres breaking the myth "you can't polish a turd" by doing that and i wanna find out how

  • I love how beautiful the dorodango are. Than kyou for posting this video.
