Youtube uses a robot to scan audio track of videos to find and remove copyright content,

Youtube is becoming more and more, the complete oposite of what it were, once..

all those ads, and now video ads before video play. And now the imposibility to find the real song because of copyright crap, VEVO, and fuckedup website design.

To bypass the visual content you need to open VIRTUALDUB and use the filter "HORIZONTAL FLIP". The image will become flipped and if there's something written on screen you will need a mirror. But doing that you'll bypass copyright complaints. And use Audacity with 5 per cent pitch added to your song to bypass audio copyright complaints as well.

@sexscenes2008 try experimenting with audacity as it can do minute pitch changes, and you never know how far from the original pitch warner will catch. Naturally, the smaller the better.

use audacity its free and it still has the pitch changing option. if changing the pitch by 0.5 doesnt work try 1 it changes the music a lot but theres no chance it will be picked up

well, the workaround seems to work with audio only,

i extracted the audio from my mp4 file then i changed the pitch to 0.5 semitones and embeded it to the mp4 file again and it worked where before the copyright noticed was;

now i uploaded the mp4 file again and the notice says visual content.

He is using sony soundforge v6-10. you can get it from a torrent site like pirate bay, use the keygen and patch the program with the keygen. you dont have to buy it.

@CazK88 Unfortunately, if "Warner or any company sees copyrighted material, they have the right to take it down.

Sometimes if yo adulterate the clip with effects, or take short snippets of the cllip,,they wont bother you. On the other hand, a few years ago I adulterated a video clip from Ed Sullivan and SOFA entertainment let it go;. six months ago i did the same and SOFA gave me a strike and a takedown. You are safer with audio changing than taking chance on copyrighted film. unless its old

Ok..so what program(s) would be preferable to do audio changing? I just find it odd because some people upload clips of movies that came our within a year or less and don't get touched...AT ALL. But when I try it, it doesn't even make it on YouTube without it being taken down. So the way to prevent this is audio changing? Change the pitch or something?

@CazK88 First off, how long is their clip of the latest movies? Is it changed in any way,,,with off coloring or effects from editing on an editing program? Would you know if the audio has been changed? How LONG are the SEGMENTS of the clips? This might have an impact on the copyright holder. The shorter, the better. Also if they are intermeshed with segments that are not in the same order as the original? This is tough stuff and I wish I had all the answwers my self.

@CazK88 Audacity will change the audio with the tiniest bit of change either up or down. Use as little as would not disturb your musical sensiblities,,,,and UPLOAD...see if it is accepted and not blocked. If it is,,,,TRY again,,,,,,,,and change the pitch up or down a tad more.....UPLOAD,,,,,and see what happens....ITS a lot of work, but you can get used to it

LOL...wow I dont know where to begin to answer your questions dude. I dont know what others do. I ask others and they said they dont have a problem when they upload. And like I said they are new movies as of 2010. Segments are all intact and no changes in pitch to me...This is from the movie Nightmare on Elm Street from 2010: /watch?v=ISzAuk-2NYs . Notice its an entire 5 minute clip and nothing happened.

If you noticed, the other uploads are either ONE minute,,,TWO minutes,, and your example is indeed 5 minutes. THIS might work. However, you say with yours they cut you down! Try a SHORTER sequence,,,,HOW LONG WAS the sequence that you originally uploaded?

Well thats the thing..I can't even do a scene from Predator (1987) that was only 1 minute 30 seconds, let alone some others can do 3-5 minute videos. I don't get this at all man. And I researched online and people are having the same problem. Some just get lucky and some don't. I notice they have the entire Nightmare on Elm Street series on youtube (from NOES 1 - NOES 6), 10 mins each but it was uploaded in like 2007. And it's still up. LOL.. What's the pattern here?

@CazK88 I will say that after going through 3,,, yes 3 channels since 2007, I have learned what i should stay AWAY from uploading, but still do not have a grip as you say, on the pattern of the copyright holders. You can look at some uploaded music videos from outside the US that Warners does not touch and they are INTACT as far as pitch,,,,(sinatra-reprise- a good example) as well as in usa. There indeed, may be NO pattern at all??

@ClassicPerformances I have often thought that some uploaders are indeed getting some kind of permission in some way or the other from the copyright holders. Of course this is pure speculation on my part but i would not be surprised to find it the case in some situations.
