This mic is NOT good quality trust.. just invest in a USB audio interface for around 100 - 200 bucks, and then get a 100 dollar condenser mic to plug into it.. USB mics are toys if you're looking to make music with it

@TheYoungwhite100 lol.. if your using for music (vocals) then no the quality is actually quite horrible. kid i've been in the music biz for a while i've used 4,000 dollar mic's.. don't try telling me USB mic's are good quality, because they're NOT. ESPECIALLY for music, and MXL is notorious for it's Hz hissing sound. also this mic doesn't even sound that good for regular podcasting/spoken word....

I dunno why?? but I swear my friend has this mic and it sounds unbelievable!! I bought myself a $550 AKG C-214, and I honestly think this one sounds better.... I dunno if this mic is just THE SHITT, or mine is garbage or what... Any one have any input???

Ok so i got a mxl mic and i used it once to record a track and after that it kept recordin pure static whats up with that?

@DaPraDigii18 i had the same thing happen with my samson, its the usb cable just replace the cable and you should be fine

I can"t record with it.. i downloaded the software and the" record" buttom is not able... i don"t know whyyy... and if i try to use other softwares my voices sounds choked!!! :@ does anybody know any solution?

@UCeBruDdUz If you want to start recording try out acoustica mixcraft. This program is not as difficult as others. If you are more experienced in recording try Presonus Studio One. Cheers!

@truedimeba I use that program as well.. does anyone hav enay experience with usb mic? im building a home studio but dont have that much cash so im tryin to make my songs sound as best as i can for the lowest amount of dollars.

@Kush1027 I have the same question. Some people told me that USB mic is a great choice and the quality is as good as dynamic mic with a preamp. Is it true? Plx help!
