  • Hey man, very nice and understandable tutorial thanks for posting. I am fairly new to guitar and like you did, I have difficulty playing and singing (although a steady tune like this isn't bad). Any tips for singing when there isn't a steady strumming pattern?

  • very very very good my friend! by far the best one on YT! Thanks a million. This is the first song with power chords I've learned and you made it super easy!

  • Awfully confusing..... O.o

it'd Be better if you REMEMBER that this video is for amateurs.

  • which strings do you strum for the beginning? im really new to guitar

  • okay man, you need to quit moving your hand up and down the neck of the guitar like your jacking it off. and get a haircut. but thanks for the lesson lol

  • you play the intro wrong and drop the E to D

  • I think you should name the chords properly... instead of explaining in tab... I hate tab and I feel it takes away from any musical experience. Your explanation is also fairly messy and all over the place...

  • Nicely done...thanks for taking the time to post your tutorial.

  • this was really good, shank youuuu.

  • i just mastered like this song thank you so much!!!

  • @skatexhardcore

i read your comment wrong haha...

  • DUDE! I HAVE THAT EXACT SAME POSTER IN MY ROOM! THE NINJA ONE! Bahahah

  • Very nice tutorial. Good format, good intro. You seem very knowledgeable.

  • You think you could possibly re-record it and go a little more depth with the timing and placement of the chords? I've pretty much learned all the chords and stuff, I'm just having trouble placing them and figuring out when to switch to the next one. I've tried listening to the song and doing it, but I'm still fairly new to the guitar, so I'm having some difficultly. Besides that, I loved how fairly simple it was for me to learn. Thanks :D

  • thanx dude, i think i might get around to rerecording mine and use some of those chords and definitely the transition, always wondered the rite way to do that.

  • @dogfish9797 always let me know if there's anything else i can do!

  • @wiwici hi thanks for the vid =)

but i need just a little help. i cant tell what strings u strum other than the ones u are holding... so could u tell me what other strings u strum cuz u keep talking about your pinkie.

PS ive only had my guitar for about a week and this is going to be my first song. thanks for ur time peace

  • Brand new songs are all tuned half step down

and you play the intro a little wrong but still good

  • i think this is the first song i actually had learned to play and sing at the same time. good luck!

  • this looks awesome--hopefully i can get my hands on a guitar and try to learn it. and nice video, breaking it down at the beginning helped me get it.

  • is that tuned to E flat Major or minor

  • Can I tell you a secret? i don't know the difference :'(

  • lmao epic

  • : )

  • fuck i don't get how you transition from the 5 and 7 chord to the 3 and 5 chord in the beginning i just keep getting stuck. btw awesome video

  • Oh it's cool dude i figured it out, i just strum the E string without holding any tabs.

  • lol...well thank you and let me know if ther is anymore confusion

  • It not drop d, or standard tuning. It's half step down.

  • thats how i did it. in Eb

  • actually its tuned to drop d, but it still sounds pretty goo the way you play it.

  • well thats like comment 100 saying that...i think i'll listen to everything a little harder. thanks buddy! hope it helped!

  • thanks so much man:]

    great teacher!

  • oh i see. yeah no problem.

  • What are the chords called? so i can map it out cuz i still get confused when playing it.

  • well like i said in the video the chords are actually just power chords. so if they particular names i don't know. i don't beleive so. but let me put it this way.

    e: x x x x x x x x x

    B: x x x x x x x x x

    G: x 7 x x x x x 9 x

    D: x 7 x 5 x 7 x 9 x

    A: x 5 x 5 x 7 x 7 x

    E: x x x 3 x 5 x 0 x

i tried posting it earlier but it didn't work hope it does this time.
