I think if she learned how to play an instrument she'd be unstoppable. A lot of vocalist who don't play instruments tend to not know much theory behind what makes a genre so they don't do justice to genres outside their own. But I don't expect typical pop radio listeners to understand much about music except what sounds good.

If you really want to show her versatility you should do a video about how many different genres she has actually recorded. Her pop music with Destiny's Child, Soul/r&b/ballads from Dangerously in Love...funk from B'Day...techno/pop/accoustics from I Am...Sasha Fierce...old school from 4...not to mention her collaborations and remakes etc.
The girl is definitely driven. She's talented, has nice vocals, and can sing anything thrown at her, but she's just too much in the spotlight and overposed. She does hair and make-up commericals, sings at about every award show on tv, and she tries too hard to be perfect; but I still like her, just slow down a little, girl... Mariah was the same way in the 90's. The only difference was that she didn't do hair/make-up commericals. Thank God!

this vid has some nice points...but i was expecting more with detailed vocal genre with full description. for example, when you said 'some people said she needs reverb', you should have added your own comment like 'how her voice is well resonated without technical help' and that made people with sub par musical level understand very well. not necessarily with layman term, but rather you can put some of the notations to clarify your point well

Beyonce's voice is not "perfect"...No one's is (Hence, how rough her transition from falsetto was @ :20). Beyonce is a wonderful performer with a solid voice. I will say that she can sing almost anything, just not in it's TRUE context...The rock examples are not true rock...Just an R&B interpretation and her scatting was subpar. She is competent in other genres, not an expert. Her strong point is the ballad...Simple. I like Beyonce as a performer and I can dig her voice, She has true talent.

Mariah Carey & Celine Dion can sing very well, although they both have the annoying ability to over sing many of their songs. Great choices, except Fantasia(u complain about flaws in Beyonce's tone but Bey is a FAR superior vocalist to Fantasia). Anyway Mariah's pitch is not always perfect and that falsetto is tragic. Celine, while a master vocalist does oversing and is often nasal. Aretha suffered from the same screechy quality as Fantasia and is often short of breath and can't sustain notes. Ceelo is a great vocalist but a bad performer. All singers have flaws, Beyonce is no exception. They're still great singers.

Yes! Very nice! I love that yo worked in some of her very recent performances at her acoustic set, and still included some of my favorite old performances like Green Light and how she blew the hell up at the end of that "Crazy" snippet. I just wish she'd sing Save the Hero lol, I think the acoustic set would have been a perfect place to bust that out.

The girl is definitely driven. She's talented, has nice vocals, and can sing anything thrown at her, but she's just too much in the spotlight and overposed. She does hair and make-up commericals, sings at about every award show on tv, and she tries too hard to be perfect; but I still like her, just slow down a little, girl... Mariah was the same way in the 90's. The only difference was that she didn't do hair/make-up commericals. Thank God!

this vid has some nice points...but i was expecting more with detailed vocal genre with full description. for example, when you said 'some people said she needs reverb', you should have added your own comment like 'how her voice is well resonated without technical help' and that made people with sub par musical level understand very well. not necessarily with layman term, but rather you can put some of the notations to clarify your point well

Beyonce's voice is not "perfect"...No one's is (Hence, how rough her transition from falsetto was @ :20). Beyonce is a wonderful performer with a solid voice. I will say that she can sing almost anything, just not in it's TRUE context...The rock examples are not true rock...Just an R&B interpretation and her scatting was subpar. She is competent in other genres, not an expert. Her strong point is the ballad...Simple. I like Beyonce as a performer and I can dig her voice, She has true talent.

Great choices, except Fantasia(u complain about flaws in Beyonce's tone but Bey is a FAR superior vocalist to Fantasia). Anyway Mariah's pitch is not always perfect and that falsetto is tragic. Celine, while a master vocalist does oversing and is often nasal. Aretha suffered from the same screechy quality as Fantasia and is often short of breath and can't sustain notes. Ceelo is a great vocalist but a bad performer. All singers have flaws, Beyonce is no exception. They're still great singers.

Yes! Very nice! I love that yo worked in some of her very recent performances at her acoustic set, and still included some of my favorite old performances like Green Light and how she blew the hell up at the end of that "Crazy" snippet. I just wish she'd sing Save the Hero lol, I think the acoustic set would have been a perfect place to bust that out.
