I don't think anyone would argue that Canford Cliffs had a pretty amazing turn of foot in his own right. But the day I saw Frankel leave Canford Cliffs absolutely for dead in the blink of an eye in the Sussex Stakes, I knew I was seeing a total freak of nature. The instant burst of acceleration this horse has is unparalleled.
