Alex Trebek made an appearance at a bookstore where I worked some years back, and the staff hated him. Said he was an arrogant p****k who didn't stay past the designated end of the signing even though there were still people in line to meet him. Some people at my college dealt with him for a special appearance there and had a similar story.
