Does he realize that cows are born specifically to produce meat? Its not as if cows are an endless plague. WE breed millions of cows to produce meat on purpose because of the demand for it. The human body needs vegetables this is true but there are vital vitamins and nutrients in meat and can help you survive, case and point it gives fat where if you are not getting alot of food that fat will sustain you for atleast a month, B1,2,3,5,6 and 12 are mainly in meat if you eat, if you need to survive and the only thing around is meat if you have eaten vegetables only for too long your body will reject it ultimately wasting water ultimately killing you, sorry but meat and veges are vital

Valid point, however you are thinking of eating meat in terms of survival. If I were starving to death on an island, of course I would eat meat, but where I live I'm fortunate enough to not be. You get the same vitamins through vegetables, fruits, and supplements. If you think about it, the cons outweigh the pros. 3/4's of the grain grown in the US is fed to animals so we can eat meat, when that grain can be used to feed starving people across the world, but greed plays a factor in everything.

Very true, we could send them food but we don't because the people who own the food are greedy, but the human body has been known to reject meat if it has not had any for an extended amount of time, so it could be a danger to eat meat if you're not adjusted.
