buddy that honney-well box of tricks on the wall for your heating what does it do because ive got the same box and i ant a flipping clue what it does!!
GeeksTech, can you answer one question for me about this particular appliance? So you actually fill the kettle with water & then if you need water just from the dispenser, it takes water out of the kettle somehow? That is what I am gathering from the video. I don't want to buy it. I am a product design student and was curious about this technology for my own purposes/projects. So for the dispenser, you dont have to fill a separate tank with water? Just the kettle works for both? thanks.
@GeeksTech,I had no idea such technology exists. I wonder how it works; how it takes the water from the kettle from below. Maybe there is a pump inside that draws the water out and into the dispenser? I am not an engineer but this is very interesting. I wish I had one, so i could break it down & see inside of it! I am a very curious design student. :) Thanks for the reply. I will have to research online to see if I can find more info on this appliance. Cheers from America!
Really disappointed. I bought this as my children are getting used to making tea and hot drinks on their own, this would have saved them lifting a kettle full of boiling water. It frequently leaks all over the counter this happened within the first week, it also silts up with lime, and is almost impossible to clean out. I've taken it apart myself ,as I cannot find the receipt and back it onto the supplier, this is an absolute nightmare impossible to repair, so much for recyling.
Pass. 50 seconds is not quick. If I filled my kettle with just enough for a cup I doubt it would be any slower. Handy in terms of measuring the exact amount but otherwise dissappionting product as far as speed is concerned.
I can't believe I'm using all this technology to see a kettle boil.
(It is a nice contraption though)

@cjs33139 Yes that is right. you just fill the kettle with water then the water from the kettle is taken from the bottom.
So no need for a separate tank, just the kettle for both.

Thanks for the review. I was worried that the one cup feature would only produce warm water rather than boiling hot.
