lol i was scared when i first joined the cadets (marine not army) but once u get settled in and get ur uniform and get used to the drill etc its fine.

how much is it to join the acf?

it varies from county to county. most charge between 20p and £1 per parade night. weekends between £5 and £15. 2 week annual camp between £30 and £50. some ask for a deposit for uniform of upto £15 but most places its free.considering the activities you get up to its very cheap. best advice i can give oyu mate is go and see how good it is for yourself. i was a cadt 5 and 1/2 years.

yes just make sure they are aware of it and dont use it as an excuse not to do stuff and you will be fine. The ACF takes anybody from anywhere with any ability.

Yes, you can. Streaksofcrimson is right, there is a guy that's in my detachment he has asthma too, at the weekend camps, sometiems you have to wear a white armband, if you're out in the field, I think. That's what happened in my detachment.
