"oh, my vision is so bad without my glasses. i'm legally blind." it's stupid because they use the term so loosely and don't even know what it means. i'm the one who needs a white cane and cannot drive because i truly AM legally blind! I'm just glad some (very few) people understand...

You are NOT "Legally Blind". If your vision were NOT correctable to 20/200 or better THEN you would be legally blind.

I got my glasses at age 10 when I realized couldn't read a sign right outside our car door at a gas station. At age 17, I got contact lenses and wore a monocle on formal occasions. Last year I reverted back to specs when I got too lazy to force in my contacts every morning.

I love all your glasses wish I could afford to have as many pairs as you,being legally bling with out glasses is hard, and also scary I often wonder what would happen if I was out somewhere and something happened to my glasses, I would be helpless.... =*( but I accpet it...

hello i feel the same as you i rember having had my glasses knocked at school many times my eyes were bad then there are even worse know its often in the back of my mind thinking and dreading the thought of my glasses being knocked of as my life is a blur witghout them rain and fogging up is a nightmare so is swimming as always someone wants to splash your glasses or even try to take them off but thats life

dear tweirdguri i i am in the same position as you very poor eyesight my advice to you is to make sure your glasses are a tight comfortable fit secure and always carry a spare pair kind regards john

I am also legally blind, your glasses don't look as thick as mine though, lol. I wonder how you afford all of them. My glasses can't really be cute like that, for one because I can't really afford the frame and also because my lenses are so thick, a plastic frame is just too horribley heavy.

Being legally blind myself I think its awesome you have this diva attitude its great many times folks like us feel very self consiousand I think the way you protrray legally blnd people is awesome because dang it were beautiful people too :)
