@2221971, if you do not like tahina you do not have to add it to your fatteh dish. there is not "right" or "wrong" way when you make the food you eat or serve to your family..there is YOUR way! so make any recipe the way you like it. enjoy!
I am a huggggeee fan of yours and have made so many of your wonderful recipies during Ramadan and have gotten so many wonderful compliments (the best was the kusa in yogurt). Thank you so much for putting everything in writing and translating into English. You are an awesome assett to youtube and to every cook....Thanks a million
@damfash , Thank you so much for your nice comment! also thanks for cooking my recipes!! I am so glad that i can make a difference in someones life, at least in the kitchen :)
OMG, me too, looks good, i'm running out of iftar ideas, this just maybe one i can cook, and it's seems cheap and easy to make, the laban you used is laban a3dy correct?
my mum makes this the same however in a diferent layer . bottom layer is the crumbled lebanese bread, then rice, then labban (yogurt) then chicken on top then pine nutts
lattakiantiger, thanks for the tip! i actually add the Snoober and almond but that day i made the video i did not have any around the house :) but i mentioned that in the recipe on my blog. :)
i just wanna let u know we always try different recipes from different cultures but your chicken fatteh happen to be the tastiest and we enjoyed it the most. keep up the good work and thank you very much :)
Great recipe, you know I never thought to toast the bread in pieces in the pan, I always toast the whole bread and then burn my hands trying to tear it lol. This is good, will try however with egyptian variation we put the yogurt after the bread and before the rice, then after the chicken we add some vinegar that has been sauteed quickly with garlic.
columbalivia, thanks for listing your recipe...i appreciate it. i guess each place has their own version of fatteh recipe but i think they are all delicious.
Thanx soo much, cookingtheeasyway, for posting such outstanding and wonderful recipes!! I can't wait to try them all! Keep up the fantastic work! GOD bless you and your family. Way to go!!
Sry, i got disconnected and haven`t finished yet, so i was saying that your efforts are really great, thx. I just would like to add that you can make fattah in egyptian way by making tomato sauce instead of youghurt. Just fry a bit garlic and salsa (tomate puree) and add some water if nedeed, season on you taste and pour it on the top of your fattah, this is how they make it in egypt, hope you`ll like it :)
anouna, thanks for coming by again to finish up your comment :)
thank you so much for the Egyptian fatteh recipe too, i really appreciate it, i have never made it the Egyptian way and it is nice that i know how it is done now. thanks for sharing and thanks for the nice things you said about my efforts :)

bentkan3an, glad you liked the recipe!! this recipe is so light and tasty....i think adding the garlic and lemon juice to it adds a lot of nice flavor to it. sahtain!
i tried it, it was fantastic, my hasband is american, never had it before, he just loved it, my mom was suprised of how wonderful it turned out, i think i will make it for my in-laws this weekend. thanks you for such a wonderful dish.
