Got an idea to make money...learn piano tuning, or teach piano and that's something you can do as a side job the rest of your life! Empathize with your father; he lost his job and as much as it hurt him, he sold your piano..but he won't show the hurt because he won't show weakness when he has to be strong for the family in times of job loss. Then for fear you will someday suffer like him, he say's: find something better that makes more money like becoming a doctor or lawyer. NEVERFORGETPIANO!
good question, long story short, my dad hates me playing the piano (because it can't earn a living or whatever) so he sold the piano i payed for with my own money without asking me so we could have more money when he lost his job. then he found out how expensive it was to tune the pianos downstairs, so he went and bought a new one that doesn't have the seat, for full price when we got the first one for half price basically new. >:(
My ID carried over when Google bought YouTube. When my parents and I used to drive to Colorado, we'd leave on Sunday mornings and this song would often be playing on small West Texas radio stations.
Well I guess I'll tell you my story too then lol. I heard this song back in Malaysia. My grandma's daughter (what do you call that?) introduced the song to me when i was a kid. i really liked the song, but completely forgot about it when i came to the US. then my church sang it to us during a prayer concert and i couldn't help but play it because it is one of my favorite songs.
