i done this show and i played this character and obviously had to sing the song, i can say that it is a challenge but i pulled it off, and im honestly not atall a singer! i might not have been the best ever person to play the part but i can honestly say i done a better job!

Ok, so, right . . . he's not particularly good--true. That said, this is an IMPOSSIBLE song and dance. The guy who did it originally was incredible, so . . . there has to be some forgiveness points for difficulty. I generally subscribe to the theory, though, that if you can't find the talent--DON'T DO THE SHOW!

I have performed in professional musicals. The guy is good but tame. He looks like he has talent but he worked in burst. And he lacked stage presents. It was like he had great talent but could not show it.

vocals are ok, but i agree that he's not a great tapper. he's missing sounds on his shuffles, the most basic tap step. i'm sure the director had to cast with what they had though. i think some fault does lay w/ the choreographer.

It is pretty easy to criticize.

I mean you are comparing these wonderful actors and dancers with the very best in the world. No, they are not as good as the very best in the world, but they are doing a great job and I am really enjoying seeing this performance (and I have been IN the show and I have seen performances all over the world.)

If you don't like it, please don't criticize, unless of course you are one of the very best in the world at what you do.

Yeah, but this is fucking terrible. The tapping is at a level of CDTA grade one max. The orchestra is terrible, has the trumpet player ever heard of air? Not to metion that for a heavy dancing show the people are rather large. Being large isn't bad, but if being larger isn't organic to the show it's distracting. I'm not the best in the world, however I sure as shit am better then this guy.

These people did a good job putting a show together, maybe they didn't do it for you, maybe they did it for themselves.

Believe it or not, there are some people who have a dream to play in a production of A Chorus Line. Keeping that in mind, I greatly enjoyed these people potentially fulfilling their dreams.

This is a show about having to dance, not about pleasing drpedics.

The orchestra need the lessons. Did they treat the actual performence as a rehersal they certainly can't play which spoils it as he is a good singer.

I like this version because they allow plus size dancers and as a plus size dancer I'm glad they don't discriminate against us..just because I grew up in the South and eat pizza buffet for lunch every day doesn't mean I should be given a chance to be a Broadway Star

What VERSION? The production is full of fat untalented people. Dare to dream. Since this is not a Broadway mounting of the show you shouldn't be too encouraged by what you see here.

If you want to be a "Broadway Star", I wish you the best of luck. But if you want to be a Broadway dancer, you better stop eating the pizza every day. People at Broadway dance auditions do not look like this.

Someone needs to learn how to tap and act then cast him for the show, Beginning tapping was terrible and you shouldn't tap during your diaogue in the song, it doesn't song right. Besides that...good job!!!

The character tap dances during his monologue in the actual musical... That's what it calls for, so that's what he did.
