I have a 5 month little boy and I've been watching videos on youtube to make myself aware!!! This one REALLY got to be I couldn't watch it all the way through...My little guy was taking a nap in the next room...I had to go into his room pick him up and hold him...I held him and wept because of the lost angels on this video...I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!!! if your little one cries or upsets walk away and CALL SOMEONE!!!! Children don't ask to be born...They just ask to be loved!!

Good informational video and although the pictures are shocking it's needed.People need to see it in order for it to sink in and think twice the next time they start to lose their temper. If anyone seeing this has a child and is struggling seek help from friends,family members,hotlines,etc. Remember to take a breath,walk away, wash your face in the sink and remind yourself how much your child means to you.

I have a friend who lost her baby son to baby shaken syndrome and every year on his birthday it just tores her to pieces that a jerk could had hurt her baby she has a new baby now but that never replaces the one you lost and i hope to all the parents who have lost their babies to these stand up for their babies and try their damnest to have them put away for a long ass time they dont deserve to walk on this earth after hurting a child

Thank you for helping to spread awareness of Shaken Baby SYndrome. I just lost my 17 month old niece to SBS this past November. The person responsible for her death still has not been arrested or brought to trial. The waiting for justice for Cheyenne is so hard for our entire family. I posted a video of her pics under my profile. These videos are so hard to watch when it hits so close to home. But my heart and prayers go out to these children and their families!

Wow...very touching..scary too. I remember last year when I was coming out of a train station there was a mother with her baby in a stroller. She was like pushing the stroller down with the baby in it. I was like "Maam, do u need some help?...U shouldn't do that, it's really dangerous for ur baby's head." I always try to be careful arounf babies. I thought that all that shaking & banging could hurt him. But after watching this video today, I know how fragile a baby's head can be.

screaming babys is VERY frustrating. their have been PLENTY of times where i had to put my son down cuz i felt my body get tense, after that you dont know what your capable of. so i had to put him down and go outside, get some water, have a smoke, something to calm down. so i can understand how someone could get to that point, they just let the frusteration take control, i made the choice to walk away. its hard when you cant communicate with a baby and and when baby cant communicate with you.

My adopted son is going to 9 next month. When he was three weeks old his Biologocal mother dropped him down a flight of stairs. He developed cerebral palsy because of it and is as developed as a 5 year. He walks with braces. he has glasses and he freezes and forgets how to talk when nervous. He is also not able to dress him self or take off his shoes. They said the motion of his brain slamming into his scall so many times is what gave him CP. His delays are the same as SBS. So take a minute

Nope, thats not always the case. Very often it is a daycare worker, babysitter or family friend that does this. Although parents do this too, it is more often the father or mothers' boyfriend than it is the mother. But it is important to know that ANYONE can do this. A person could have no violent history, shake a baby to death without intending to and feel miserable about it afterward. Thats why awareness is SO important. It saves lives.

How do you think they feel? Thier children are dead or severly impared. They are full of anger and saddness. MeKenna was murdered by her Mommys' best friend and he's in jail. Madilyne was murdered by a licenced daycare provider who got off scott free! And Kaleb was severely impared for life by his daycare provider and they are still waiting for the trial so they can have justice.

most of mothers to be haven't realize the danger of shaking baby, true, I was one of them before married with luck I hadn't shaked my sweets actually keeping my eye on them even a small reaction, so I think education is the key to teach them, mother to be and also father to be.

This happened to my son when he was just an infant. His father had a abusive childhood and inflicted this on his boy. He never laid a hand on him when I was there so I never knew what was going on. I left the bastard after 12 months and found out about 6 years later that his father did this and damaged the nerves behind his eye and had given him a trauma cataract. He will eventually go blind. I have never forgiven myself for not being able to see what was going on. My boy has so much anger.

To me its senseless. How can someone inflict such pain and hurt on someone so small that they can't defend themselves? Not true. While education is key in preventing this form of child abuse. It happens with everyday people. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, friends and daycare providers do this. Many people don't actually think SBS even exists.
