  • It seems like this are better than Axis... and same cost in my country

  • For $800 bucks a pop, you'd think they'd have more than just 3 stroke adjustment settings

  • First, keep in mind that the pedal "retails" for $1400, and there isn't a single retail vendor, including buying direct from Trick, where you actually PAY $1400. Even buying direct from Trick the pedal will cost you $850 brand new.

However, if you can afford the $850 or if you can find a solid used unit (like I did for $550), well worth it. I own both this and the DD and this is the superior pedal for my playing style and technique. Play them before you plunk down the cash though.

  • Well im considering getting these pedals, because they dont break and will last me my lifetime

  • 0:52 the fucker just flipped me off!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just bought the bigfoot version of this pedal :)

  • before you buy these, remember its the player that goes fast not the pedal. you wont become george kollias by wasting $1400

  • The technology in this is just amazing. But 1400 is too much.

A 600$ pedal, like the Pearls demon drives, are enough to play anything,at any speed.

  • Chris Adler uses this right?

  • As a drummer and a student of Physics and produce design, I can safely say i've never seen such a well engineered pedal. the detail in it's construction, it's ease adjustability but overall its quality of build it truly unbelievable. Well done to the designers at Trick Custom Drums

  • If im not mistaken, chris adler once reviewed this pedal.

  • Only reason I'm considering this pedal over any other, cheaper pedals is that Trick makes a longboard version, and ever other pedal I read that has that also has quite a few reviews saying that the shit fell apart. I didn't see any from this one.

  • @IPstixrawesume thats exactly why i bought mine, i really considered buying axis, theyre solid as fuck and hit hard and fast! great pedal

  • I can just see those small dick head rich parented children say to their parents: ''I gotta have THIS one on my first drum kit! Then I can play just like Dave Lombardo and Joey Jordison after my first lesson!'' Yeah right... because Iron Cobra pedals can't do the job right? Speed and accuracy in your drumming is more affected by your own drumming technique than the difference between these pedals and other models use the money for lessons I'd say :) Yet, the big pedal-board is a nice feature!

  • The thought of a double bass pedal for 1400 is so ridiculous its a joke... the fact that people think this will enhance there playing that much is just stupid

  • @MTRITTS People who think that are quite mistaken, yes. But it's not 1400, it's $849 at most places that sell the Pro 1-V or the Bigfoots. The thing is, Axis pedals are not built very well, as they will eventually fall apart. These, you can tell, are a tank and will not fall apart, ever.

  • I have them, absolutely no way a human could break these, they are the real deal, totally adjustable, plus Trick has great support for fine tuning, I even called them up to ask them a few questions. Awesome pedal, awesome company!

  • That thing is so Awesome !!!!!!

  • id buy them IF I HAD THE FUCKING MONEY >.< there worth more then my kit

  • @JamesAndHisDrums97 Yeah but they are worth it..... I have them they are so sweet and they look even better ! I have a custom kit and they go great/look great with my Tama Warlord Snare Drum (Spartan) lol i paid about the same for my Snare and the Tricks !!!

  • @inbloom97 im going to save up, its going to take a while but it will be SOOOOO worth it in the end :D

  • 1,400 !!!!!!! HOLY $#!+ Even if its 800 HOLY $#!+ !!!!! Only LARS could afford such a pedal!!!! then again he would even get a brain fart!!! that double pedal cost more than my little used 4 piece, WAY MORE!!!!

  • Why do I have to live in Colombia? I want to live there! why God, WHY!!!

  • ther about 650-800 depending on where you get them, i have tried them a few times, and only pedals that can compare in personal adjustments are the demon drives from pearl, its actually a 50/50 shot between the 2. these are amazing. if your looking for a flat shiny double pedal that just works

  • Wow, these are reallly cool..

But will burn a hole in your pocket...

  • Good stuff, thanks for sharing.

  • very cool !... but expensive.. but very cool !

  • best pedal hands down the adjustments are really easy to use and to adjust. great power not weak, built like a tank. axis doesnt hold a candle to these!. too many stories of axis breaking for 200 more i got the best and piece of mind. great metal fuckin pedal!!!

  • I would never find the perfect adjustment !

    It's too complicated .... :-)

  • I have played an Iron cobra for 15 years, same pedal. trashed. I just read all comments, searching for a detailed horror story about how a provie or a dominator exploded into a thousand pieces 4 years after purchase....no such luck. If this pedal is the one that will allow me to continue to play a bass drum well after the global collapse, where customer service is just a fond memory....this is the pedal for me. If you break yours, I want to know how, and why. Keep posting tricksters!

  • Trick better than axis. in my opinion.

    more power and so fast...

  • I don't like Axis pedals because they weak and only with triggers fastest.

  • @mikeBecHiLlIn 9002? is that the same as 9000 just dbl pedals? those are my fav for non-longboards but i much prefer longs for heel/toe rolls. demons are nice too and they convert too longs. i love my axis longs since '06 and the new axis 21's are even better im sure. id really like to try the bigfoots. im guessing id like them better than my axis but the axis 21's and the bfoots might tie up for me bc the 21's have such big plates and my feet are 12.

  • Pedal looks like a part from a prototype aircraft from the early 60's. Seriously, ever since the axis longboards and the demon drives came out a few years ago, pedal prices are now in the roof. $1400 MSRP, seriously?

In 2020, drum pedals wont require you to even need to move your feet anymore. Just wear it like a part of your body and it will do the kicking for you.

  • @real1acer I think you could get a Sonor middle pedal for that lol

  • @real1acer it means normal pedal prices will go down which is good for me. I guess just because you have this pedal, your not just gunna turn Thomas Lang or someone overnight. You've still gotto put the effort in so there isn't much point in getting it

  • @mikeBecHiLlIn go for pearl demon drive

  • kinda looks like a shadow of the AXIS pedals......

  • "Fourteen hundred" *face melts*

  • DW is better

  • @MrMrDrummerboi No way.

  • wait are those red cymbals in the back?!?!? lol

  • did he just say $1400??!?!?! for a double pedal

  • @cartonn30gel he said that the stores sell them for $800 lol

  • @cartonn30gel he said suggested retail is 1400, but most shops are selling them for 800.

  • Pro-1Vs are hands down the BEST pedals EVER!!! I'm both deeply honored and grateful to endorse them. Trick for LIFE \m/ \m/ Dusty 'Dent' Oldani, Burning Eve

  • For me its the bigfoot or axis does anyone have advice

  • @IronCobraKid deff the bigfoot, trick makes the best pedals in the world. practically indestructible. its worth the extra money.

  • @IronCobraKid I just switched over to Axis, mainly because of the versatility. All the parts are interchangeable with each other. And Axis is a relatively small company with great quality control and excellent customer service. If you know how to set up pedals and are an experienced player I think Axis would be a great choice. Just consider the source when you see bad reviews on Axis pedals. They are solid and hit hard. I love mine, and I was totally against getting them at first.

  • @BigVDrums Thsi helped. :}

  • iv played these and they feel great but there like 800-1400$ who the hell has that kind of cash to burn on a peddle.

  • I just ordered a set of BIG FOOTS ya

  • What`s the price?

  • can the Trick's drive shafts used for DW double pedals?

  • And for double bassing Im used to having two bass drums. Now I want to use the system for one drum. I just hope the shaft that connects the two pedals opens up wide enough. I don't like most twin pedals because I have to play with my legs too close together. So I took a longer piece of nar stock and made a real clean extension rod to open my Flying Dragons up a bit further apart. I wonder how wide this Trick goes?

  • Yeah...you don't want to oil them. That may do damage to the bearings or something. I too wonder if there is any weakness or break down and has anything broke on anyone like the Axis pedals have? I did put some of these beaters on my Flying Dragons and man what a difference. Then I discovered the pedal system and now I want it. How long have they been around?

  • Just got mine yesterday, wow, the fact that you can customize it effectively is amazing, but the action is perfect! well worth the money! nothing compares to it!

  • Can these pedals take a real beating. I mean are they really strong.

Price is a worry if it breaks in the first Year.

Has anyone abused this pedal and still has it in perfect working order.

  • @pdtuk1 I think they are built very well, aviation grade materials... that's why the cost is so high, because it's an incredible freaking pedal!

  • @pdtuk1

I have them. They are like new even i have had them for 2 years. You dont even need to oil them

  • @pdtuk1

dude only in the video we see that pedal is made really tough i mean look at it its all metal-alike lol looks SOOO tough :O

  • @pdtuk1 I honestly hated this pedal. I bought the single and sold it the same week. Rockin with a 900 now, best way to go byfar.

  • @pdtuk1 They don't come with a case. When I got mine I bought the Road Runner universal case with the pluck foam in it. I plucked the foam out for all the pieces of the pedal and it works awesome. I've toured with these things 3 times so far. 15-25 shows each tour. They work awesome. One of my beaters bent but I threw my dw 9000 beaters on there. Thats the only thing i hate is the beaters...wayyyy too light. Get the dominator beaters with it.

  • @pdtuk1 my drum instructor ha been using these pedals for years so they will last a long time

  • impressive

  • ya you pay alot of money but realisticly the other real options for direct drives are axis and the demon drive. way too many bad reviews about the axis and for the extra 200 you got something tha WILL last.. as far as demons go they are good but its also a preference thing

  • the bottom line is, any drum set can sound great with proper heads and a knowledge of tuning. But honestly, these pedals are too expensive.

  • I haven't owned every great pedal, but I have owned some, and I just got my Trick. You are not just paying for the name. The engineering is awesome and worth it if you can afford it.

  • simplemente impresionante!!!!

  • i wish they werent so damn expensive.

  • Okay, that's a sweet pedal, and the adjustments and design are very nice....but $1400 bucks????? Are you F-in kidding me? I could buy an ENTIRE drumkit for that!!!!, Hell, I could buy a Brand new Alesis DM10 Electronic kit for that!!!!

Thanks but I'll stick with my Iron Cobras.....

  • its not 1400 thats the retail price. they sell it for like 650-750

  • @hockey3428 Dude....still! 600-750 FOR A PEDAL?????? Uhm....no thanks....that's utterly ridiculous. even at $750, I can still go buy an ENTIRE kit for that price... No pedal is worth that kind of cash no matter what it does or how it does it. ITS A PEDAL for christs sake!

  • well if you want the best pedal on the market then your probably not thinking about cost. Im actually working towards getting a pair of these because of the pairs ive played on are worth it.

when you drum you use 4 limbs and i want all of my limbs to be perfectly articulated. not just two of them to sound good and the other 2 sounding like shit.

and if this is too expensive then buy the dominators, they're cheaper

  • @axeman098 if you put less than 1400 on a drum set that means it sucks. This pedal is totally worth the 700$. I dont have it but there are a lot of similar pedals for the same price.

  • @cvcgac uhm, that depends on your perspective. Yes, I love my High End Sonor S-Classix's Birch Kit, and yes they are Boutique priced at over $5K retail, but in all seriousness, I like my DW/PDP Maple kit, and it cost me less than $700. It sounds almost equal in terms of recording quality, and playability. It's not the price that matters, it's the quality of the shells. Not all drumkits have to cost a fortune to sound good. Heads and setup can make even a lower end kit sound good when mic'd up.

  • @axeman098 But usually the better the shell the more expensive it is. But i have to agree with you in some way.

  • @cvcgac Sure, I mean my Bass Drum Shell for my Sonor's by itself is $2,800, but even though it's 9 ply Scandanavian Birch, I still think thats a ridiculous price for a drum. Especially when my DW/PDP kits sounds almost as good with plain Maple and the whole kit was $700....It's really just a matter of what are you willing to pay, but price isn't ALWAYS an indicator of Quality...

  • @axeman098 Well, it makes a lot of sense if your a professional drummer. I mean drumming is probably a hobby for you. It's only as good as how much you pay for it. If you but a 100 dollar drum set it's not nearly as good as a 1000 dollar drum set. So the same thing for pedals. You could get a SP double pedal for 100 bucks. Same thing. Just less features, worse quality, and A LOT slower. So it depends on your situation.

  • @shazibIsMySon buy** not but lol

  • @shazibIsMySon Actually I am a Professional, but I also know from experience, that Bigger isn't always better. I paid $250.00 for my Iron Cobras, and they have served me well. This pedal is "Trick", but what are you really paying for? Yes it's got lots of adjustments, but the bottom line is, how does it feel and is it durable enough to survive the abuse I will give it? The actual cost to produce this pedal isn't anywhere near that price. You're paying a premium for a "Trick" pedal.

  • ''excellent''

  • whats better this or the demon drive?

  • @aileanwazere this trust me demon drive overated

  • @aileanwazere Trck. hands down. Pearl is and always will be a joke.

  • I wish I had the cash to buy this pedal. The adjustments you can make are sweet!!!!!!!!

  • wow sick!

  • probly worth like 300 to about 550 dollars

  • "That's very cool man...What do these retail for?" ....gets answer....abruptly scurries away...LOL!

  • ...the best pedal in the world!!!!!

  • That is pretty sweet, Remember the Ghost pedal?

  • Is it just me or are Pedals becoming a fad now? Ever since longboards came out they're jus going too far. All modern pedals seem to look like fucking robots ._.

Sure they have some nice features but I think I'll stick to my Cobras/Eliminators anyday.

  • This is cool but u have to go in debt to buy one,i think these things cost around 700 or 800 dollars, way too much money for a pedal

  • @jakamake not too much money considering the performance this pedal provides. I own one and I am by no means rich. Yeah, $750 is a lot to throw at a double pedal, but I used to own an Axis, and I destroyed the universal joint on it after 5 years of use. I can't imagine breaking my Trick pedal...

  • Those are nice

  • those are amazing!
