  • He should've done that intro as Rocky, not as Stallone.

  • Is there anyway that we can create something that can make Sly live forever. God that pumped me up for a gem no doubt about it. ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!

  • @aldomillos

im an eagles fan , but i dont fuck mothers.....so, talk is cheap, facts arent!!!!

  • Bucs 17

    Eagles 0

  • How bout those bucs now!

  • they still have there championship and the eagles don't.

  • That was an awesome intro.. Then the Bucs came out and beat them again. They got to beat Philly to close the Vet and beat them again to open the Linc. How sweet was that? Say what you want Philly fans, but the Bucs got the trophy. Nothing sweeter than watching Rhonde run down the sidlines looking at the Philly bench as he went by for his TD.

  • Look at 0:47 -0:52!!! Look at those sad and pitiful faces. And Natedeanmaan wants to claim that a win is a win, no matter what.

At best, it merely avenges their loss to us in 2006, courtesy of Matt Bryant's 62-yard field goal.

  • @MCWAY1, what a sore loser. I can take the losses better than this person could. Still, a win is a win, no matter what the situation is.

  • A regular season win DOES NOT equal a playoff win, especially when it's in the NFC title game AND the team that beat you goes on to win the biggest prize of them all.

As I said, the Bucs beating the Rams in 2000 DID NOT make up for their beating us in the 1999 NFC title game and later winning the Super Bowl.

The Eagles have YET to grasp the ultimate prize. Until they do, your talking about regular season wins rings hollow.

  • oh really? so what trophy did u get from that last win?

  • Payback never tasted so great!

    33-14

  • Do you really think that win over us this year washes away the taste of that BIG LOSS in the '02 NFC game?

Go back to how it felt watching Ronde Barber snatch that ball and jog towards the endzone.

Go back to knowing that, with the deck stacked in your favor (home field advantage, the emotion of playing the final game in the Vet, 4 straight wins against us), YOU DIDN'T GET THE JOB DONE!!

Go back to that feeling of watching us hoist the hardware, after killing Oakland.

    Payback? PLEASE!!

  • @MCWAY1 lol a bucs fan talking. yeah, you really scare us. haven't done shit since '02. Where's B. Johnson? Nope! BUCS SUCK!

  • @chromeagle Yeah we haven't done shit since 2002, but u guys couldn't win the Super Bowl in 2004 with McNabb. Now he's with the Redskins. Put that in your pipe & smoke it.

  • @theicchamp06 at least we can win. the hopeless bucs cant win with anything! they're the worst team of all time. '79 and '99-'02 are the only times that shitty team was great. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it. Doesn't matter that the Bucs have a ring. SO DO THE CHIEFS! And last I checked they were... Well, they sucked, like the Bucs. And that's all they'll ever be. Same thing with the Tampa Bay Succaneers!

  • how does it feel knowing a team that is "shitty" stoped the eagles from advancing to the superbowl?

  • @BuccaneersTalib you know they were good then and they suck now

  • @chromeagle oh, and how does it feel knowing the "shitty" team destroyed the eagles in their last game at the vet and their first game at the linc

  • @chromeagle You only win when it doesn't matter. When the stakes are high, the Eagles fall. Always.

  • @DoctorPorkenfries

2008, eagles vs. dallas, week 17, winner goes to the playoffs, loser goes home....what was the score again? 44-6..the stakes were pretty high, and we flew....so i guess your wrong?

  • @sportsondemand LOL! Talking championships here, buddy. Eagles never brought home the hardware. Dallas pulled it off five times. As a matter of fact, I'm fairly certain every NFC East team has won at least 3 Super Bowls, except Philly. And please, don't talk me about NFC Championships. Nobody cares about those. Until the Eagles bring home a Lombardi, they arn't a position to talk crap to anybody who has.

  • @DoctorPorkenfries

again here bud, thats incorrect, detroit doesnt even have one super bowl. and uh, we can talk as much shit as we want, because we FLY. this season, watch. we're gonna beat the falcons in the nfc championship, and pound on new england in the super bowl. why do i say this? because we win, and dallas, loses...who cares about what you HAVE DONE, its about what YOUR DOING, AND WHAT YOUR GONNA DO.

  • @sportsondemand I said you arn't in a position to talk crap to anybody who has brought home a Super Bowl. Never said you couldn't talk crap to teams that havn't. The Eagles probably are the best franchise that hasn't won a Super Bowl yet. It's just, well, usually when a franchise is good, they figure out how to win a Super Bowl.

  • @chromeagle Try two division titles in '05 and '07. We open your new stadium the same way we closed your old one: WITH A 17-POINT WIN.

And, of course, we have what you DON'T....A Super Bowl ring. Until you get one, you can't say JACK.

  • Get REAL!! A regular season NEVER erases the taste of a playoff loss. I know firsthand.

When we loss to the Rams in the 1999 NFC title game (and watched them win the Super Bowl), that felt awful, Beating them in a regular season game in 2000 didn't change that feeling one bit. The Rams still had the Lombardi and we didn't.

However the BUCS beating the Eagles in the NFC title game erased the pain of those two playoff losses in 2000 and 2001.

We still have a Lombardi; YOU DON'T (at present)!!

  • 33-14 bitch

  • Last time I checked, regular season victories don't reverse time.

Bottom line: THE BUCS HAVE A LOMBARDI TROPHY; the Eagles don't. If (and that's a big IF) you get one this year, more power to you.

Until then, your claims about "payback" are quite hollow.

  • @phillyeagles217

NFC Championship (and eventual Super Bowl Championship)....AT YOUR EXPENSE!!!

    33-14 don't erase that!!!

  • I remember watching this game and my heart was broken. I want to watch the opening drive where the Eagles faked a field goal and Koy Detmer over threw LJ Smith for an incomplete in the end zone on 4th down. The Eagles didn't want the first score in their new stadium to be a field goal, and they ended up being shut out. What a terrible result. I love the Eagles though.

  • lol the bucs won both of those games by 17 :D.

  • The Bucs Closed the Vet and opened the Linc with a shut out win over the Eagles baby!

  • You know, I was so freaking hopped up after I saw this promo and then the Eagles to spanked. Whatever. Still an awesome promo.

  • This game pissed me off more than the 2002 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP.

  • go birds

  • 4th time a team was shutout in their brand new stadium since WW2.
