Nice though, Glory to the Emperor!!

  • Tau, FOR THE GREATER WEEABOO

  • how did u made it to insert the dawn of war characters in the garrys mod?

pls answer id like to do that too

  • WOW the Tau are bad at aiming in Gmod.

  • @AirWaterLandBuffalo

    Tell me about it.

  • Can you please give me a link because it has been deleted on garrysmod. org thx in advance :) awesome vid btw :D

  • Pretty cool, but honestly.

Tau would probably have won in a ranged battle.

  • @holysoks1

Probably... You can also probably notice that the tau weren't actually firing that much for whatever reason.

  • @WarlordCorbex They know you cant win against space marines ;)

  • @holysoks1 Are we talking real 40k, or a tabletop battle. Because in 40k fluff, Space Marines and their amazing reflexes, and the fact that it only takes 1 bolt shell to explode a Tau's organs, would be able to kill their target and transition so quickly, the fight might take about 2 seconds, or less. The Tau would need a headshot to incapacitate one of the Marines.

  • @Sangheilitat117 seen them fight in fluff videos?

    They're slow as fuck.

And bolters aren't actually that powerful, hence the Tau being adept at decimating Imperial Forces in land battles constantly (fluff wise atleast)

  • @Sangheilitat117 Also, Tau would have insta head shop mang. They're fucking expert marksmen.

  • @holysoks1 Space Marines would insta-headshot faster. You know, ultra-reflexes and all that.

  • @Sangheilitat117 Space marine have piss-poor accuracy and this shows in the design of their guns.

They're armoured so they have a chance to get in close.

Tau's accuracy on an open plane would dominate.

  • @holysoks1 ....did you just say Space Marines have piss-poor accuracy? ... Are you completely new to 40k or something? It shows in the design of their guns? Are you basing this off of vanilla Dawn of War or something? I mean if you want, I can tell you about Space Marines. Because it appears you know absolutely nothing about them.

  • @Sangheilitat117 I'v read fluff, the 40k rule book, the Space marine codex's, seen movies based on them, played all the games based on them, played the table top.

    And I was entirely correct.

They use a snub nosed high calibre gun firing a round most effective at relatively close range fighting.

Their armour fucks with their aim to the highest degree, this shows in every single aspect of WH40K fluff that is to do with Space Marines..

They have good aim if not hindered by armour and such things.

  • @holysoks1 I... don't know what to say to you, except that if you honestly read the codexs, and what movies are you talking about? Anyway, if you've done all that and read a lot of the books, and you still think they have bad accuracy, you're fucking retarted. Their armor doesn't with their aim at all, in fact the HUD on the inside with the auto-targetting helps, and so do the motor-assisted joints that make the bolter almost weightless.

  • @Sangheilitat117

The HUD in their helmet uses algorithms to place the area most likely to be hit by their shot, not 'where their shot will land'.

All fluff and the likes has stated that their accuracy isn't extremely good, motor assisted joints don't make the bolter 'weightless' but they do help the user hold and fire accurately.

hence the reason why scouts often use accurized single shot/burst fire lengthened bolters.

tau rifles are elongated and made for accurate fire. Read up on tau.

  • @Sangheilitat117 By the way you spelled "retarded" wrong, try not to fuck up your insult while calling someone a retard, it detracts from your point.

And makes you look fucking retarded.

  • @holysoks1 Oh shit, my bad, in that entire technical argument of mine, I spelled one word slightly wrong, that completely invalidates my entire argument. How bout you come up with a counter-point instead. Don't change the subject.

  • @Sangheilitat117 How about you refer to the two other paragraphs I wrote out to you =)

I know that the youtube messaging system doesn't alert you of multiple messages so I understand.

  • @holysoks1 I have nothing from you. The only response I see on my screen is the one about me spelling retarted wrong.

  • @Sangheilitat117

So basically, all fluff that involves them including their origin and basis portrays them incorrectly?

    Dude, shut up...

Bolters are fired from a snub nosed weapon, which just screams short range, and the bolter rounds don't have an activation timer as they still detonate in extremely close range combat.

The armour is bulky, regardless of what it feels to them, and constricts movement to some degree.

It keeps them alive, and gives them strength, but also hinders them.

  • @holysoks1 If anything, bolter's are least effective at close range, since the rocket in the bolt shell doesn't have time to activate and propel the bolt to it's maximum speed. The armor feels like a second skin to them, which you'd know if you knew anything at all about 40k besides the Tau. Which are not expert enough marksman to insta-headshot anything. Tabletop doesn't realistically portray Space Marines. Neither do... whatever movies you've seen.

  • tau: FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!

    space marines: CLEANSE! PURGE! KILL!

  • More reasons why the Space Marines are awesome.

  • BOLT GUN WANT D=
