@metemi yes, its possible, but difficult, to get it right you'd have to either do some jiggery pokery with the hihat placements, or use one hand to tilt the Hihat so you had the semblance of a 'rim'. either way it messes your sticks up xD

it is very simple, just rest the stick on the rim, lift it up which causes one hit, and bring it back down which makes a second as the stick comes to a rest on the rim again, all in one motion. practice that slowly until you're comfortable and work your way up with speed and accents
