Yes this is the story of our peopple. But never will we be the vicitims. But the survivors to the near genocide of our people... Our legacy is that we are a strong people as whole Nations. We must remember this and forgive but never forget.
where is her matriarchy?-in matriarchy clans-there were always many mothers around- children spaced 6 years apart by use of herbal birth control plants-teachers have censored all self sufficiency mothers knowldge
Cyberonimo, could you put the written script up for us? Her words are so important. I'm so dreadfully sorry for the dysfunction that happened in your family.
I bought a better camera. My babies have grown up. They won't be on the next video. I am telling them our story. Our family was dysfunctional because of the Residential School experience. My father & mother were drunks because Residential School did not teach parenting. It tore our family apart. We dealt with it in alcohol, drugs, suicide attempts....feeling unloved & unwanted. My parents never said, "I love u" because they learned how to keep it in. Stoicism was the norm. I will tell stories.
@Cyberonimo hi i'm from north central alberta and i too am a product of a dysfunctional residential school survivors family there was no love no hugs or kisses or any of the other things that were supposed to be taught to the students of these schools my mom was not a drinker but managed to raise eight kids that all suffered from alcoholism and drug addiction all four of my brothers died in their thirties
I would like to hear what she is saying but that baby is kind of loud and distracting. Her story does deserve to be told as does all survivors stories. Cyberonimo, could you type in what she is saying please?
Indirect murder - as a Canadian Iam ashamed of what we did to our First Nations RIP Harold George - gone but not forgotten I will join you one day my love.............
Cureatrix you suck. First Nations people saved your ancestors from prosecution in Europe including Germany you Nazi prick.

Thank you for sharing your story. Realize that children are still being apprehended needlessly and in huge numbers. This isn't over.
