I like watching the time lapse version of this video...it shows the detailed hard work that you put into your videos. As a video editor myself, I have the appreciation for that. Good job!

Lee, I love this video. I thought that you were setting up each scene and snapping (old style and would create choppy, slow production) but I'm guessing you shoot the whole thing (or whole segments) and then editing out the bits you don't want (like the hands). Is that a fair description?

Also, did you invent it or get an inspiriation from somewhere else? I mean sure, it's like 2D Ray Harryhausen, but it's perfectly tuned to the purpose.

Yes, we use video and then edit it to create the stop motion effect when needed.
We were not aware of the work of others when we made our first video. It just happened.
