Che was a self-aggrandizing murderer. Sure he was better than Batista and a wide assortment of U.S backed autocrats, but the man killed many innocent citizens in his anti-imperialist crusade. Golden rule. Apply the same standards of criticism to everyone. Also this host is painfully unfunny.

It's funny how everyone blames Che, someone who actually travelled around and saw the poverty a murderer. In no way am I denying that he did kill people, often cold blooded executions. But you seem to have it in your head that Baptista in Cuba and many other latin american regimes were saints. Reagan directly funded death squads which killed over 100,000 people in three differant countries (guatamala, nicaragua and panama). Che represented the people, not his bank account like the US system.

He was a warrior who fought to deny the human spirit, and private, personal dreams. He fought for the absolute state. He fought to suppress art, music, and free speech. Che Guevara was an animal, even Castro didn't like him. That's why he sent him off to do his dirty work, hoping he'd get killed. All he did was shoot up poor farmers' families until he'd force the adults into submission. That's a REAL great way of showing how far you'll go to be "for the people."

But Reagan did NOT do this intentionally. He lamented over civilian deaths. Che Guevara in the other hand, did NOT lament over civilian deaths, he CLEARLY endorsed it. If you want to call Che a good man, you might as well say the same about Castro, Lenin, and Stalin.

I'm sensing some confusion about rather or not he killed killers or innocences. He ordered and participated in hundreds of executions, think similarly to the communist witch hunts of in the US except without a trial (although using this example doesn't really help since it was faux trials, but I digress) and it ends in gun shots. Many of the Cuba refugees get upset at the tees because he represents pain to them for 'killing' their fathers or whatever on hunches
