i've had a few chevy's, new and old. none of them had a heater that worked. I did not know this till I got me a buick and let it run for 10 minutes to warm up the first time it snowed. I had to roll the window down to cool the inside off.

So now I wonder, has anybody EVER had a chevy heater that made actual hot air come out? or is being cold all the time a sign of toughness?

my chevy truck was like this, the body sat cockeyd cuz the body mounts were rusted away, the heater sucked ass, doors wouldnt say shut, had the exhaust wired up, all the gauges wouldnt light up, the brakes sucked, and it didnt have a muffler, and didnt steer worth shit, and in the final days of it smoked really badly that no one could do the average speed and pass me cuz they couldnt see behind me cu zof all the smoke

I had a an 89 toyota camry that my daughter dedicated this song to. No muffler, AC quit working, passenger door wouldn't open, driver window wouldn't open, and the head gasget leaked . It had 230, 000 miles on it, rust, 10 lbs of dust from driving gravel roads, but it always started and ran , and averaged 30 MPG! We finally "retired" it after being rear-ended by someone doiing about 60, and it STILL ran ( albeit minus a trunk) & didn't have to be towed home.

73-79 Ford pickups= best truck ever made. Chevy's are great but Fords from those years are unquestionably tougher and built better. 80's Fords are the ones that suck, they drilled holes into the frame to lighten them up and as soon as you pulled something heavy with them, the frame ripped in two, especially if it was rusty. Those holes not only weakened the frame but also allowed water to puddle up inside the frame.
