that did not work well ... they ate through the shell ... i patched it with marine epoxy ... all was well for a while ... then the puffers ate the antlers of the snail ... then the antlers started to grow back ... and those basta__d fish ate the antlers again !!! i had to give him away ... he went to a tank three times the size and no predators ... poor guy ... but the store clerk at the local fish store assured me the puffers would be just fine with the apple snail ... NOT :O)
