Hi @mrbuki77, Rick has it right on the button there, chicken poop is amazing stuff just like pigeon poop - I watched a tv programme on how 'they', process animal hides through various stages to make them supple. pigeon poop worked like acid eh! (burn type acid, not the trip out type ?!? ) (Joke)
Show us some worms. I have thought about doing this. But decided to place all my vegetable table scraps inside the chicken coop. The chickens scratch it, chew it up, and poop it out. I believe much faster than worms.
What I've done is built a "Chicken tractor", similar to yours, only smaller. I will leave them there for about 6 months. Then move them over one spot. Till the ground where they were, and let it sit till next growing season. Gather the compost from spot 1, move them back to spot 1, and repeat on spot 2. Let me know what you think. This is my 1st try at this. Thanx from Fl.
Thanks. I found red wigglers at Pet Co. But they are cheaper by the pound on the Internet B)

Don't dig up earthworms! Get red wigglers at the bait shop.
OR at wal-mart where the riffles are ..they have a frigerator with bait there.

That will burn the plants up real fast.
You can't put chicken poop right on plants
you have to let it "cool down" for around 6 months.
