their songs sound SOOO much better with an acoustic set of drums.... plus the nice classic distortion instead of the hi-fi they put in the album... the killer distortion on the bass... gives the songs such a badass kick... wish they'd record things like this from the get-go... The digital sound fits them fin in the albums for the uniqueness, but it's LIVE that they show their true AWESOME selves...

I don't know of ANY other musician that can create music of such a variety of emotion. Trent can take you from the depths of hell to the lights of heaven. There are so many transcendent moments of spiritual grace and interconnectedness on all of his CDs. Just listen to "Something I can Never Have" and "A Warm Place". Beautiful, tender and filled with humanity. Then he can plunge right into a nightmare like "Wish" or "Eraser" just to remind us that life hurts too! A true Genius.
