But we intervene in those systems, we also cut down the trees that do that job, we risk the microbiology in the ocean and we farm cattle and ensure there's always more livestock. The facts are...plants need less water when there is more co2 in the air. less co2 in the air (if rainfall remains constant) increases desertification. the % of co2 in the air has no effect on weather and would not effect any change in the rainfall, only assist photosynthesis.

Carbon Dioxide isn't a pollutant... By burning carbon based fuels and creating carbon dioxide we are restoring our lost atmoshere. The co2 will be converted to O2 by plant life which thrives better on less water and nutrients in the presence of increased co2.
