The writers really overegged the pudding by including Jericho, Michaels, Nash and Austin in this angle. All it needed was Goldberg and Evolution...anyone else was surplus to requirements. Many a good angle has been messed up by throwing too many bodies into it ( the nWo springs immediately to mind)...keep it simple, and give the main players the room and attention they need to tell the story.

flair is a big deal because before there was pyro, original musical themes for wrestlers, or custom gear, or entertaining interviews, there was ric flair. true, he copied everything from the original nature boy, but he brought an incredible charisma, superior technical wrestling (at the time), and and original outfits (custom robes) to wrestling. and he wrestled everyone that was ever any good out of three decades, bruiser brody to shawn michaels.
