  • God damn it.. that shot at 2:10 would be so different if 9/11 never happened.

  • the 2005-present Mercedes-Benz R-Class is assembled in

    Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA

    Toluca, Mexico

  • 0:52 day time running lights is distinct?! is this guy joking? Every car has daytime running lights invented by Audi hence its FAR from being distinct!

  • I think it looks like the Toyota Venza more than any other car.

  • It looks like a minivan from the back.

  • looks way better than the old one!

  • Ugly !

  • No one with that nice a house would allow something that hideous to be parked in their garage.

I would rather have a Mercedes Sprinter Van.

  • its a station wagon

  • @TJC450 thank you! they need to stop calling these things crossovers! there all wagons on tall tires!

  • what was with the V8 sound effect at the beginning?

  • Starts at $51k? That means a decently equipped version will run you $60k+. I'll take a Ford Flex or as a last resort, Toyota Venza over this ANY day. I'm also pretty sure this will be your typical Mercedes unreliable electrical nightmare 80k miles down the road. Only ignorant people will buy this as a status symbol.

  • @sdlausen Totally agree with you on this!

  • @sdlausen Ford and Mercedes are on par considering reliability, and you put a Toyota as your last resort? Aside of the ridiculous news. Toyota is probably your most reliable choice, and besides the Flex is the ugliest Ford ever!! I am glad that they're making progress finally, but based on previous experience Ford is a nono until I see how long the new Fords last.

  • @AcerOner Ford and Merc are NOT on par when it comes to reliability. Have you been living under a rock? Pick up your latest consumer reports or check out Edmunds and you'll see Ford beats Merc in reliability by miles and is on par with Toyota, if not above. The Flex in my opinion, is a well conceived design. The angles and proportions are perfect! Everything now has concave flared surfaces a la Chris Bangle which I find obtrusive. When you see a Flex, it stands out right away.

  • @sdlausen Sorry I came of strong, but I'm commenting based on previous experiences with Ford, BUT I do believe they're recovering, and if Consumer reports are giving them good ratings then who am I to say they're bad haha. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • Toyota Sienna!
