Anyone thinks this movie is similar to Twilight? i mean it has the same premise of a odd town, an odd kind of vampire in the body of a teen boy, girl meets vampire boy in high school, mother of that boy is hot and a different kind of vampire and that sort of thing. I mean Edward and Charles are similar and so is Tanya and Bella.

@Johnlindsey289 In fact in nearly all this "vampire" movies have a one of them falling in love with somebody forbidden and messing the things because of that. Is the only similarity i found.

Wait, that was Tobe? When I first saw the clip in Mick Garris' Masters of Horror interview, I thought it was John Landis.

But don't get me wrong, it's a pleasant surprise to see Tobe Hooper making a cameo.
