forget Romeo and Juliet, this is a sad love story. Dracul lost his beloved wife when she plunged to her death, thinking he was dead. When the priest said she'd find damnnation in Hell for her suicide, he condemned Christ, and sought only to once again find the love he once had.

I love the movie too, but the love story isn't in the book at all, so it shouldn't really be called "Bram Stoker's Dracula". The love story changes the story quite dramatically!

I do not know the members religious preferences if any. They are a darkwave/goth band, & they don't just make references to Christian mythology, but mythological figured & concepts in general, Greek, Egyptian, & so on.

most of the religious references in their songs are to greek or roman gods and myths, mostly relating to the stories of Aeneus

@zombiekiller2045 yes they are christian, Cruxshadows means "in the shadow of the cross", the outcasts are the only ones that went to actually see Jesus when he was crucified, we're the outer circle coming in.

@MizxBluexEyes Since Rogue (their singer & core member) has posted on their News section several times that Christmas is his favourite holiday, since he & his wife (also a current member of the band) got married on one of the days of Christmas (Christmas is 12 days long, thus the song the 12 days of Christmas) & since the band has recorded their own version of O Holy Night & recently their own original Christmas song, something tells me they are Christian in faith ;) .
