  • Some ghazals can simply decipher or demystify the complexities of METAPHYSICS or MYSTICISM. This lyrics of this ghazal along with the melodious voice of legendary singer Abida Perveen and music of Sarangi, Rabab & Tabla has done the job. No doubt the true love reflected from this ghazal shows duality. One can find God and the earthly love as well.

Tauseef Bhai thanks for loading mystical ghazals.

  • hey fucker! translate it in English! i am not from pakistan or india and i understand it...the next step is to translate it in English and no one is doing that!!!!

Aaye thay sabhi tarah k jalwey mere aagey

Maine magar aye Deedaa-e-hairaan nahi dekha

  • can someone just briefly explain theme running in this vdo??? i.e. what point is the poet tryn to make? tht would be great. thnx

  • The Preacher does not realise the fervor of my faith, as he has not witnessed that pretty face half visible from the clouds of those dark tresses. I would never experience the pain of separation as I can see her face night and dayright before my eyes Such beautiful visions passed me by but I have eyes only for her, my beloved! And I am not aware of any sermonizing, except my own madness in loving her.

  • thanx for that much appreciated.

  • Good pakistani or good muslim or sindhi, he should posses one thing that is the primary GOOD HUMAN.

But unfortunately we are not today including me.

Any ways subject of Abida is soofiiesm and that is purely based on heart, humanity and God.

Nicest kalaam ever in my life till today.

  • around 1900Muslim khilafat ws a big problem and to destry dat they used arabs to destry Turk empire/millat e islamia

this division made them weakest ever, otherwise unity wstheir power

around 2000 agin they moved their pawns on more smaller scle to destroy remaining power.

100years ago we were muslim, later we bacame pakisnai and indian muslim, later we became sindhi then we ll become laghari;Meghwar; Bheel

    cnt.....

  • Proud to be a Muslim then Pakistani... then only Pakistani and nothing else...

    With Love

    From a first generation Sindhi

  • Well why only sindh, others feel proud too..she is too good in singing punjabi Sufi kalam as well:).

how beautiful it will be if we feel proud on artists on bigger plate form as Pakistani

she is a verstyle singer..she has done such justice with Urdu too that is inexpressible..so please think on highr lever..its injustice with her personality.

G A PAKISTAN aameen(Aor inshallah Sindh bhi G A Ga Pakistan ke sath)

  • I agree with you my friend.

  • All the poetry from this album "Raqs e Bismil" is inspired by Maulana Jallaluddin Rumi. Abida Parveen Sahiba's ecstatic voice does the poetry justice.

Thanks Tauseef for posting all of these amazing songs by Abida Parveen Sahiba.

  • Please try to make a word to word translation. This will also help to have the feeling.

  • ok...this can be done...and i ll try to do soon

but translation can never give exact feeling and mostly the beauty and spirit goes away...

translation only can give idea of original script.

  • the worshipper did not see the strength of my faith

nor did he see your locks scattered across your face

at all times only that face is before my eyes

i have never seen the face of the night of separation

all types of beauty came before me

but oh surprised eyes, i didn't see anything

what happened in the in the chaos of love i don't know

when i came to my senses my shirt was in tatters (meaning the person was beaten up and humiliated)

as tauseef said, the translation can't convey the spirit

  • Thanks a lot dear brother. I appreciate your try. Surely it has helped me to understand deeper than before.

  • I have the full translation and some explanation of each couplet on my blog. You can check it out.

    urdushaairidotblogspotdotcom
