@shakespearespqr well sure you can think that if you want, but I have to partially disagree. In my opinion "crap wow clone" would be something like "Runes of Magic". SWTOR is million times better than a regular crappy WoW clone (RoM), so I don't think it's fair to call it that. However, if SWTOR starts sucking on later levels, or has horrible endgame, I wouldn't really know, since beta didn't have endgame.

It brings nothing new to the genre. The cutscenes are extremelly overrated imo, just an advertising point. If you want that experience you can have it much better in any other bioware single player game.

The cutscenes alone dont make the game good (and for what i have seen, they are not that good) and for the rest the game is mediocre and not innovative.

WoW isnt original, but has the best production values in the market even today. Swotor is just a mediocre game.all their money for trailers

Graphics are better than wow's... obviously... well thats the kind of things u expect a 2011 (almost 2012) released game to improve over a 2004-5 title. And its only superior in graphic technology, graphics is also design, and in that matter wow is plain superior. Better playerbase? 90% ToW players are WoW veterans...

Anyways... are you telling me that the 10 million wow players are immature teenagers like you? i don't think so. Are you really that stupid to judge every single one of them as "worse" than ToR's community? (when, again, most are ex-wow players...). ToR has tried to emulate wow in almost every possible way, even the cartoonish graphics so can't really make a point over that one.

GW2 tryes to innovate, ToR failed to emulate. They managed to rip you people off, as WoW did.

Story sucks, gameplay is mediocre - simply the same as with all the other mmos, not as innovative as it said it would be, the cutscenes are overrated and only client side. Not even to mention my 15 kB per sec internet connection upload speed - I would very much more like a KotOR 3. With COOP !! :D

Guild Wars looks miles better than this game. SWTOR just aims to copy wow and it does it pretty bad (taking into account how many resources they had).

Just to prove you I'm not a fanboy or hater of either: didn't play GW1, i chose WoW back then. By Bioware, loved/liked MK2, KOTOR, NeverwinterNights, Dragon Age Origins and both Mass effects... and i also love Star Wars (the universe, not themovies...). But TOR is just a mediocre scam.

Gw2 seems to be miles ahead.

what program did u use to record ? and how big was the file?

@visi0n14 I used Fraps, all the realtime-speed footage was around 400-500 GB if i recall correctly, final video was 46,5 GB uncompressd and 3,28 GB when compressed (virtualdub, h264 (quality CQP 27) .avi). Youtube further compressed it to 3,0 GB for highest resolution. Used Sony Vegas to put it all together.

There's a lot of stuff out there for swtor gameplay, but this has to be one of the best one's i've seen, I liked, faved, and subbed, something i rarely do, keep it up :)

@PsyMike3d well, it depends in what way WoW dissapointed you. If just disliked the general feel of the gamplay, then this probably isn't the game for you. I you thought that WoW lacked immersive storylines, voiceacting, better graphics, more customization and lightsabers, then this might be the game for you :) Personally, I'll wait for GW2, but that's just me, because I've been playing WoW waay to much and want something completely different now x)

Game has nice graphics. When it comes to important things such is combat and such, from what I saw so far is a way too bad. Bunch of guys standing at one spot hitting 3 keys and hitting with their mighty light-sabers.

Too many cinematic for one MMO. I really don't want to spend my time watching cartoons, I want to play the PvP.

"Bunch of guys standing at one spot hitting 3 keys" - yeah In that aspect it's pretty much exactly the same as WoW. Developers aimed it to be that way, and I'd say they succeded. Gameplay really does feel like WoW, so I wouldn't call it bad, since people generally don't consider WoW bad. Also, realize that these is stil kinda low level content in this video. hence the simplicity :)
