They used another application from propellerheads called recycle, with that program you can make your own .rex or .rex2 files from old records or record your own vocals,and then you can play them on the Drex player in reason or any other program that plays rex loops.
Josh's Song is in the Demo Songs folder located in the Reason Application folder. You can listen to the original there. I'm not sure if he has an MP3 version posted anywhere..

all my tracks are made via reason. i record in soundforge and cut up to put in reasons nn19. its a pain but gets the job done. can you do a tutorial of how you do it? also how to make the vocals sound crisp / dry for the track. it would be really helpful if you could. :-)

Pretty sure they use Logic and Pro Tools! Reason is more for practice and quick sequencing rather than any real kind of production!

How much ram is in that Mac?
That's one of the songs that can't load on my mini, cuz it takes up too much cpu. It can't even get past the 1st 3 bars without it crashing on me :(

I use recycle to put vocals in my reason. I've made fully produced songs with just reason in conjuction with recycle.
