ive used this program for over 5 years with no problems at all ever until now its starting to slow down my pc when its in use but after 5 years any computer needs a reformat so thats probably whats wrong other than that nothing has ever happened.

Ares is down, meaning that if you've downloaded Ares in the past 4 months or so, it will not connect, people who have downloaded Ares before Ares went down are still capable to connect and download.

actually its easy just leave it running with your computer it does not start right away not sure why but that happens. probably registers with the company idk... well hope this helps

i had a limewire... but it give me a worse problem since my computer crash seriously by a multiple virus that trough a limewire...i hate it, i use a limewire bcoz its fast.., now i change to the ares 3.5 its really safe a fast too.

i just deleted limewire and going back to ares. limewire just gave me a virus but i deleted it before it did anything bad. ares is good but sometimes the downloads are slow. limewire has fast downloading but toooo many viruses.

You'll have to wait for the server to catch the file fragments. It automatically detects which files are safe to download, or in other words FILE HASHING. It's safer than Limewire, less vulnerable to viruses and spyware. Just wait for the download :)

it slows it down b/c of how much memory each songs consume. I have never had a problem with it. if you download strictly songs and i guess videos you'll never really get a virus unless u install other programs. good luck
