@Shadowshabby I don't mean to be a rain cloud on this or anything, but can you imagine that she's probably been in this profession a while(clearly she's no spring chicken) and how, after the 500th doped up patient, they become less funny and more of a chore to actually do her job and pass the important(very important) medical care needed to his sober family members/girlfriend so he doesn't get infections or so the wounds close properly.

I can sort of understand why the nurse is annoyed with Andy. I just got my wisdom teeth removed this morning (via IV sedation) and when I came too I was pretty normal. My only problem was that I insisted on trying to walk on my own and wanted to know the time every 2 min. I dunno if his sedative was different, but the drug I was on doesn't really make you too high unless you wanna act silly.

@homicidalpsychokat That is not true. I am in Vet school and I can tell you that any anesthesia can make people act this way. I have seen people act way worse. Everyone reacts differently to IV sedation (anesthesia) . This is actually very common and I have seen people react a lot stringer to it. It can induce crying, anger, yelling, cold spells, nausea. So, no, it doesn't mean it will only make you act this way if "you want to act silly" he actually can't control it.

@MckinneyMini In my case it probably helped that I was frightened TO DEATH of acting crazy from sedation thanks to videos like these. I suppose the thought of acting normal stuck with me as I went under. During the car ride I kept asking my dad if I sounded nuts in the office. Apparently I was fine and I figured that (coupled with my experience) if this nurse was treating this boy so harshly it was because you could control yourself somewhat. But I was wrong :)
